Brendan Rodgers.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

If I was Pardew I would find it hugely disrespectful for Rodgers to suggest that Newcastle are good for sorting out Liverpool's goal difference. If I was Newcastle I would see that as a slur and would want to ram it down his bloody throat. You get the feeling Rodgers is out of his depth here. What a twat.

He has been trying to deflect Liverpool players from thinking about their situation all season, because he thinks they will bottle it. He was right.

This is just another attempt at that. If they think purely about how many goals they are going to score, they won't think about the pressure of having to win. Fine if they score early, but If it's 0-0 after 30 mins, their arses will be leaking like fuck, whatever he says.

He really is a fucking uber cunt, like a cross between fergiscum and the has-been Phil Brown (when he was in t' Prem with t' ull) over opinionated gobshite no-mark. Never been a Pulis fan but he always seems to get his team fired up against this sort of shit. Up until this season I never really minded scouse 1 and would want them to do well, not as well as City though, but since this ass clown has taken over he seems to have returned them to their arrogant self-righteous twatish spoilt brat status. And I'm fucking married to one, god help me and fucking come on City.

I think the key to playing Liverpool is holding your nerve for the first 25 minutes whilst they throw the kitchen sink, after that its a lottery as they run out of ideas and run out of steam.

I honestly think they can win both games 4-0 and 5-0 but I just think we can too. Importantly its just for us to match what ever goals they score tonight on Wednesday.

Jesus, what hubris. I think this guy is even more odious than Mourinho (Rodgers that is, not gillie).

I'm surprised no other team has got wise to them and packed the defence and defended deep. If they can't play the ball over the top into 30 yards of space they're fucked.
No plan B versus Chelsea. They're one trick ponies.

11 - if goal difference was level, it goes on goals scored. Bit your point still stands.

Some rag on the radio last night was saying we didn't really win it last time as it was just goal difference and it'll be the same this time. He then suggested it should go on goals scored, which means we'd have won it last time. He then suggested the Spanish head to head system is better, so 7-1 to us last time and 4-4 this with a win on away goals.

Didn't the twat say that on the last day when we won it, Vinnie passed it to Yaya, Yaya passed it to Aguero who passed it to Mario, who passed it back to Sergio to score? He then used that statement to back-up his main point that we are a club full of world class stars.

Firstly, he obviously got it wrong and lied to make a point. Secondly, it says that he's getting his excuses in already, again ready to use the money to explain why his team may bottle it. Remember, we're playing at exactly the same time now and even though we have to play 3 games in the final week he's still not confident of doing his own work and finishing on a high.

And lastly, he's a cunt.

Steady on, Beefy.

Some of the more sexually rampant posters on this forum might regard a female orifice of this nature as being, at various times, a 'useful' artefact.

Don't think this adjective could apply to Jolly Rodgers.

9 goals for them will still not be enough. Even if we only win our two remaining games by one goal then we add another two to our GD. Fuck em anyway it wll never happen
