Lawro was getting his excuses in early in his predictions, about scouse being tired, no mention of the 10 plus games that we have played. Until very recently I had been admiring the way he's had them playing but now he's turned a Billy Big Bollocks he can fuck right off. There will be a real sense of irony if captain Steve is the one to have cost them the title with his slip. This is his only chance ever of winning it..... I do think Rodgers is a talented coach, just a pity he's a tosser.

I have a friend who supports Reading and loathes Brendan after his time there.

Dippers related. Had SS1 on in the background and noticed a bit of a trend for today. Here's todays guide from about mid-day:

1. Footballs Greatest: Liverpool
2. Shankley - Greatest Managers
3. Fantasy Football Club - Jan Molby
4. Game Changers - for kids
5. Soccer AM- The Best Bits - with guests John Aldridge and Ian Rush
6. FL 72
7. Gloves are Off - The Footballers - Darren Bent, Jamie Redknapp and Joe Cole
8. Monday Night Football - Dipper love-in

Now, i'm not sure but that is looking like they are expecting a full day of Dipper armchairs tuning in and I'm not sure if I've ever seen programming of that kind before.

It's all a bit odd and it's now gone off.

He's a very talented coach. He consolidated Swansea in the Premier League whilst playing attractive football and I think the Liverpool sides we've seen at City have been excellent under his reign.

The Champions League will be a poisoned chalice for them next season. It's extra matches against quality opposition and it'll make a negative impact on them. I don't believe they have the funds to make considerable improvements either. This season was Liverpool's big chance and they've hopefully blown it. Chelsea will come back stronger.

I honestly think they can win both games 4-0 and 5-0 but I just think we can too. Importantly its just for us to match what ever goals they score tonight on Wednesday.

Agreed. on both points

Palace have a formidable home record and defend very well. I'll be amazed if Liverpool score 4/5 there tonight.

Not too sure what you're all getting upset about. He's got to say that it's not over and they have a chance, any manager would say that.
Then the fact he's said his team are going to score hatfuls against CP and the Barcodes is just suicidal, as him saying it will just piss off Pulis and Pardue who will ensure that it doesn't happen.
Stupidity of the highest order.

That's what I mean. It's such a stupid thing to say, but it's also going to work against him. Hardly a wind up!

I don't know about attractive football . They played possession football but did fuck all with it. All the ball but no penetration.
This season he's decided that lumping it over the top to 3 quick players is a better proposition.
Gerrard will be happy. At last he's found someone who's happy with him hitting 60 yard passes all the time

I'm not saying that I've ever been pro-liverpool but I did have a level of respect for them apart from their high pitching whining and self characterisation as being hard or funny (they are never ever either). However, their bricking of City coaches on their remembrance day (when City fans were dignified in their respect), their deification of Stevie GBH and that biting, diving cheat and his serial wife beating mate (you could only be embarrassed by such characters), their ridiculous crowing and ultimately premature proclamations of having won the league (what a farce) and now Rogers with his arse-wipe attempts at mind-games has me thinking that they border on being as bad as the rags or perhaps worse?
Whatever the case they are sickening and if we win the prem this year then I hope it rains on their candle lit vigil.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

I think I can find a couple of things to wear in his honour - I should never have doubted him when it was 0-2.

Just like Jose in the CL at home to Atl Madrid he made one big error that cost him dearly.

Like Jose bringing in Eto'o too early, Rodgers never shouldve brought Moses on at 3-2. He should've shut up shop. At that point, bugger the GD...you need the win.

From a City perspective, nicely done Rodgers
