I haven't seen a collapse quite like that in a long time.

The Arsenal one at Newcastle was the one which comes to mind as the last!

Edit:Or 2 goals conceded in the last 5 minutes against Everton for the 4-4!

I thought Rodgers was tactically naive at both Chelsea and Palace.

They needed only a point against Chelsea. Yet rodgers tried to steam roller a Mourinho side. At best that was naive, at worst that was incompetence personified. It got me thinking why would a supposedly top class manager choose tactics like that in such a game. I entertained the thought that maybe Liverpool are a one trick pony and cant play any other way. He covers his managerial inadequacies by citing he stands by his attacking football principle.

Then we had last night. Rodgers made big play of our goal difference prior to the game. Again I think it was cover for his lack off a Plan B.

It is obvious they can only play one way. High octane attacking football from the first minute. Hope to score a couple of goals early on. Ball after ball down the channels. If you survive the first 30 minutes they are knackered and you can easily beat them.

They have been found out now, Rodgers style has been laid bare for all to see. No Plan B. In the Champions League they will be taken apart next season. I predict they will struggle in the League with more sides adopting Mourinho tactics to nullify their attacking threat.

We are the better side. We are versatile. That performance at Palace was what was needed at the time, a no nonsense professional performance keeping it tight. We got no credit, whilst the media wank them selves silly over Liverpool.

Hopefully he will be kept off the airwaves. Carragher spoke sense last night unlike the other Liverpool mafia.

I must admit I'd fucked off to bed and switched the telly on this morning hoping they hadn't got 5 or 6.

Nice.
