He actually conceded the title with his team all alone at the top of the table.

One last chance to show off his chops at mind games, and he just plagiarizes Bob's old trick from two years ago.

Poor.

Didn't Carragher and Ratboy say they lacked leaders! What does that say about Gerrard

Manchester City fan and former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher was quick to taunt Liverpool after their 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace gave his side a huge boost in the title race.

The Reds led by three goals at Selhurst Park but relinquished their lead in a frantic final 15 minutes, leaving Manuel Pellegrini's side trailing the Merseyside club by a point but with two games in hand.

Gallagher voiced his disapproval of Luis Suarez, who was in tears after the dramatic cdraw shortly after the game.

"It was nice to see Suarez in tears at the end because he is a blatant cheat," Gallagher said to talkSPORT. "It was an endearing image, Gerrard too.

"I can't believe he [Suarez] won the Football Writers' Award. They went 3-0 and got caught up in the emotion.

"Nobody wins by six or seven in the Premier League - unless you're playing Tottenham or Arsenal."
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Thread delivers

Woke up at 3-0 and said "Not bad, we've still six goals on them". Dozed off and woke again, saw 3-3 and sprinted out to turn on the tv. Amazing stuff and they only have themselves to blame.

Rodgers has been banging on about the right way and how defending is easy, yet his side completely neglected it at 3-1 up. Once Palace scored they should have been told to calm down and just take the three points with still two opportunities for us to fuck up.

Instead, they did this -

Image

EIGHT players ahead of the ball as the move broke down and a few seconds later it was 3-2 with them out on their feet.

Lesson to be learned here for Brenton, another one.

I notice the Rags have had a testimonial night tonight and jumped on the chance to promote their policy of playing home grown youth.

Looks like they'll have new manager announced very soon by the way their PR machine is kicking in.

When did they stop becoming a football club?

I've been to a fare few end of season games and can't remember any of them coming out with a microphone and telling the crowd how to act.

Is this just a Rag thing?

Anyone else kind of hoping the Rags nick 6th place? A horrendously long Europa League campaign, starting with July qualifiers in Belarus or Kazakhstan, would fuck them up nicely.

With the right manager & a big spend, the rags can be a decent challenger in the league next season if they have no European games.

Liverpool have effectively challenged with 4 players plus Gerrard, because they are all full of energy all the time. They will probably finish behind the rags next season when the tables are turned imo.

I was until they lost to Sunderland. It'll be tricky for them to qualify now after that loss. It's like losing to Sunderland was a win win for everyone...

Probably not going to happen, but they were able to win their last home game to cheer the fans up and a lot of ex-teammates won't be relegated so like I said, win-win.

There seems to be a lot of (media) concern, this morning, about how serious the injury to Phil Jones is and how this will badly affect England's World Cup prospects.

Just seems to indicate how far England have sunk, in International terms, when such a plodding and mediocre 'also-ran' is deemed to be vital to our chances of success.

Perhaps it's time for us to withdraw the team from all Competitions, for the next five years or so, until we can get a side with a few 'footballers' in it.
