I know the season isn't over yet and everything to play for, but I just thought I reopen this thread.

As you can see, my vote initially went to David silva

But without a shadow of doubt I have to say "Yaya Toure" for me.....in big games he's really stepped up to plate and some of his goals have been absolutely world class

There have been great contributions from several areas & halfway through the season there may have been stronger candidates than Yaya,, but in the end, if you get 20 odd goals from midfield, in a season where we have a lot of injuries to forward players, it's fantastic.

Dzeko should get a mention. Love/hate him, his goals have been crutial, but Yaya's all round involvement and reliability have been second to none. What a player.
