Before I talk about the woes of the Villa fans and how they stand on us winning verses the dippers winning the league, a quick word about the Sunday Supplement. Ive taken to listening to the podcast now, because the actual show winds me up, and I don't want to damage my TV. If you didn't hear this weeks broadcast, it was an end of season miracle !! The whole first segment was about City ( which never happens ) and they were almost complimentary. The licking has begun early people :)

Now back to the Villa fans....they are a little bit conflicted about the game tomorrow, although the general feeling is that they are going to get battered. I am too nervous to even think about it, I just can't shake 'typical City' it seems.

Now, more than ever...

COME ON CITY !!!

Team Selection

Guzan
Lowton Vlaar Baker Clark
Albrighton Westwood Delph Bertrand
Weimann
Bowery

My favourite

Now were safe, wouldn't be too bothered if we lose this one. I know we never want to see us lose, but anything to stop Liverpool winning the League. Just couldn't stand the bin-dippers going on and on

And the rest...

Pressure is off, so may play with more freedom, thus resulting in only a 4-0 loss

Great opportunity to win a trophy this season - the Premier League one for Liverpool

Let's go and kick some booty

We tend to be awful when the pressure is completely off, so not expecting much from this one
J-Bowz hat trick in an unsuccessful solo attempt to hand Liverpool the title. 4-3 City

Come on City

I dislike Liverpool as much as the next man but I'd love to see us beat Citeh at the etihad and shut up their smug spoilt fans.
Would like to see us have a go and ruin their party.

City 3 Villa 0

I'd happily settle for a 1-0 defeat so the Scousers don't win the league

I want us to win and win well. Liverpool aren't our concern

Aguero is going to come on in a wheelchair to score in the last minute and Martin Tyler is going to scream AGGUUUUUERRRRRRROOOOOOO. Jordan Bowery pulls off his Villa shirt to reveal a Real Madrid shirt with J-Bowz 7 on the back.

Can't believe people would rather lose then see Villa win just so Liverpool may or may not win the league. I have two tickets in the Man City end for this. Since so many people are supporting them anyone want to swap for tickets in the Villa end?

What do we get for winning? A place higher in the league and maybe Lambert for another year?

If we win, Liverpool WILL win the league, do you really want that? **** that.

2-0 City please.

I couldn't care less what Liverpool do. We're Aston Villa. We try to win every game we play.

Sticks in my throat to want a Villa team to be beaten. I do hope we win, but I also hope that Liverscum implode and their whining fans end up crying into their White Lightning!

Anyone who actually think we will get anything at Etihad is complete nuts.

Sod this! I don't care what happens at the top of league because we are not involved. As far as I am concerned 11th place is still up for grabs and I want us to finish as high up as possible!

We have some attraction to do during the summer don't forget, and 11th is better than 16th or 17th!

I hate Liverpool as much as the next person, but I never want us to lose.

Man City are going to absolutely murder us. They can wrap things up after today's result for Liverpool.

5-0 or 6-0 I reckon

Let's throw a spanner in the works

I can't stand to see Liverpool with that diverqueen that is called Suarez to win the league. It's a win win situation for me. If we lose, i don't have to see liverpool win the title, if we win I'd be happy for us move up the table and getting more cash

This will probably be the most watched villa game in a long time. I just don't want us to get spanked.

It would be hilarious if we beat City handing Liverpool a lifeline and they **** it up against Newcastle

If Man City are anywhere near as nervy as Liverplop looked yesterday, then in truth anything could happen

Just bet on Man City to be winning at half time and us to win the game. I can feel it.

Positive thing about this game is now, since we have nothing at stake the players can go out there and just relax. The pressure of course being on Man City, and as we know we've somehow we've managed to beat them type of teams this season!

If i was a betting man, i wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Villa to get a positive result from this one.  After the Liverpool result i imagine MC will be like starving wolves awaiting the meek lambs, cue PL leading out the Villa

I hate both Liverpool and City, but would much rather Liverpool won the league than City, they've played great stuff this season without spending billions, unlike City who are just a team of mercenaries, and represent everything wrong with modern football

Hope we lose, don't want those scouse c*nts winning the league. We will never hear the end of it if Victimpool win it, the media want them to win it so bad their bias is so blatant.

We will lose, heavily. 5-0.

Does it even matter? We will get hammered anyway. They will be even more fired up now Liverpool have dropped points and will come out all guns blazing.

Interesting. The one thing I would say City fans are definitely not is smug. Fuck me do they not know how many knock backs we had prior to the sheikh and how those have had a prolonged and sustained effect on us. Some us are waiting for the kick in the nuts. The one feeling I am certainly not feeling about these 2 games is smug. Anxious would be more fitting.

Dont mind Villa, really dont. They are treading water at the minute, and have been so erratic it would drive me insane if I were a fan, but they had their time and a shot at top 4 with O'Neill but he wasnt quite up to it...downhill ever since

Some interesting comments, and I quite like Villa too. I know a few Villa supporters and they're decent sorts.

Must be hard for them because nothing ever really happens..

They're the sort of team I'd like to see relegated so that their fans get to celebrate when they get promoted.

We don't need to bring on Kun; maybe we can stop Jovetic catching flies for long enough to concentrate on putting the ball in the net

Cheers CM, thanks again!

I dont speak to too many smug City fans though, as mentioned above I think there's a certain degree of shitting it going on..

It always seems that I'm 'most nervous about' the upcoming match.

Gutted because I am not going to the game! Only game i have missed since getting well enough to get back to them and I am dragged off to Portugal on a blooming conference!

Apparently we're off on a tall ship tomorrow - they better have frigging wifi or there's going to be trouble!!

smug City fans are a minority and IMO they are JCL's. Most of us are shitting bricks as usual at this stage!
