Pellegrini

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Pellegrini

Postby Lee_R » Wed May 07, 2014 9:18 pm

I know we've not won anything (League) yet but to see how happy he was at during this game made me realise that its such a big big thing for Pellegrini having never won a league in Europe.. and especially after the RM disappointment. I'll be sooo happy for him if we do win it.

At the start of the season considering everything, the disappointment of Mancini going and the expected transition time expected. I would have been happy finishing top 4.

This guy.. walks in.. has a hiccup.. and quite possibly does a double!!

Pellers.. where has your mancityfans POLL gone?

Well done chum.

Well said.

In fairness to niall quinn, he said as much. And finished by saying he was the standout manager given the problems he had to fix on both the footballing and harmony side.

Before the match he also said everything I would have said when sky opened with whole "city are facing a huge fine" bollox.

Well done niall quinn and well done pelle.

If we win the league it will be a great achievement for his first season.

I think we've arrived and Niall is now allowed to pick up the mantle. We've noticed that many stories are coming about with regard to our spending and we can see that they are now trying to put the real info out into the public. One thing I will say is that whatever our media think of us they will always back our own teams when push comes to shove.

We are a big thing and we are the future of football for the PL and Sky. It's about that time where they can start putting some backing, knowing they'll at least get a return.

Allowing a little fawning for us shows that the media worls is changing, and thank feck for that.

Pulis has done great turning Palace around (especially on Monday might guffaw guffaw), but he didn't take over ther until November so how can he be manager of the season?

He can't, but neither can Pellers win it against the rabid Rag (United or Dippers) machine.

Pulis over Rodgers as we now can see that Rodgers has bottled it. Over them both though is Pellers and if he doesn't get it then we know it's all just nonsense.

I think Ancelotti did the double in first season at Chelsea and didn't win it so Pellers won't win it either.
Scouse Brenda is a shoo in for it. 7th to 2nd. CL qualification, Attacking, entertaining football English spine in his team etc, etc, etc
Pellers should win it but he won't.

It possibly depends on us winning the title.

If Liverpool won it, as they all expected/hoped, then the Count wouldn't be in with a shout v Rodgers, Pulis etc, but if we finish off the job he's won a double, playing attacking football.

I recon he just might get the award. Souness was very complimentary the other day, now Quinn. It seems like people are realising you don't just automatically win stuff because you have some decent players.
