The Gaffer

For the second game in a row, the changes he made were significant in changing the game.

100% Zaba for me.Where the guy gets his energy from I don't know.Hasn't missed a minute for yonks and plays such a tough role.Fantasic for Edin to get 2 and excellent movement and strength to get there for the first one.

Silva once again showed touches of class and great weight on the passes for Zaba to get the crosses in.Not one of Yaya'a best games but then he comes up with those special moments where he showed such unbelievable quality. His close control of the ball before laying it off for Jovetic was superb and then the finale.Such power and again that close control. How can you run like that with defenders all around him and the ball hardly left his feet.It would have been better though if he had one defender on his back and another hanging onto an ankle and being dragged along the floor.

I didn't notice the poll. It's not so obvious in tablet format. I would not have voted for him v Everton but we were getting overrun in midfield and Aguero's injury after the equaliser meant he could do something about it rather than just bringing on a replacement. Fernandinho made a big difference. Tonight it was the other way around. Dzeko was finding it hard to get space on his own but once there were two up front they defended less coherently. Kudos to the gaffer. Sees a problem makes a change.

To be honest, he doesn't really. We have the plan of the best playes in the league making sure we win, whether it be 1-0 or 6-3. He has a remit to make us exciting and has done the works but now has to ensure we .............................

Ahhhh bollox man, I love the fucker. No complaints from me, I might be dead tomorrow.

I went with Zab. A solid performance defensively, but a constant threat down the right hand side for us. Him and Milner were linking up well, but then he set up 2 goals which changed the course of the game.

Dzeko had a great game too. Playing up front on your own against a team looking to park the bus isn't easy, but he kept working hard and kept up his impressive goalscoring form. He's relishing being our key striker this season and I expect him to fully charged again this Sunday.

I thought Yaya was quiet (by his standards) in the first 60 minutes, playing deeper than usual, but he sparked into life towards the end. His assist for Jovetic and his goal were both simply fantastic.

I was again impressed with Jovetic in his cameo. I really hope we can keep him fit because he could turn out to be an excellent buy for us. He is always looking to take on a player and is not afraid to shoot whenever he gets a chance. If we can keep him fit next season, it'll be like having a new player.

Great team performance last night. Kept patient, kept trying things, kept their heads.

So hard to pick one man out.

Dzeko scored the crucial goals so maybe him, but he wouldn't have got them without Zabs lung busting runs and perfect crosses so maybe him, but he wouldn't have got them without Silva's incredible sense of space and position and uncanny accuracy and weight of passing.

So, sod it, it's YaYa for me, for his 20th, our 100th, and yet another memory soaking goal and assist!

Kolarov, because he hasn't got a vote yet and he absolutely destroyed Villa down their right putting some delightful balls across the face ( ooh matron ).

Ditto. Voted for PabZab myself.

As an aside, however, it's only a small thing but I liked the way Jovetic stroked the ball into the net for the third goal. Reminded me, a little, of the way Balotelli scored against the Scum at the Swamp.

Judging by his celebration, Jovetic seemed to enjoy the moment as well.

I was thinking that. If he can stay injury free and with a good pre season he could be a real positive next season.

With no World Cup to hinder his pre-season he could be the main man at the start.
