That bloke! Bless him.

Sounds like he's lived in Spain since he was seven - still

It costs just over a thousand euros to to get your A licence in spain...there are over 12,000 qualified.
costs over 5 grand to do it here...just over a thousand qualified
Its not like spain is so much bigger in population terms is it?
I sometimes wonder if the FA actually wants english football to progress

Giggs just saying how it helped him as a young kid, to play vs men rather than just v other kids.

But he was playing in the 'reserves' so why the fuck don't we just just do that ?

Hughes says one of his players came back from Spain vastly improved due to playing in the 'B' system.

Mourinho is afraid of commenting because he may be punished, which of course is the genuine truth & he's not just saying that because he is a sulking, self indulgent wanker.

I think having a b team will help greatly in the development of youth and is a good idea for premier league clubs. It's a bad idea when you consider the impact on lower league clubs. However to be selfish I hope we do create a b team.

When we were in the real third division, no way would I have wanted to see our first team play rags or arse B etc; at least the other clubs we met were different and interesting away trips.

Caller on fivelive hitting the nail on the head regarding coaching in this country. nail on head.

It will cost the FA money to do what needs to be done.
It will cost the FA money to either lower the A licence course cost or subsidise it
It will cost the FA money to invest in grass roots football at a level appropriate to the population and level of participation.

It wont cost them much to shoehorn in B teams and it wont cost them anything to punish clubs who refuse to pay a premium for english players, only because the clubs that have these players are underfunded by the trickle down from the premier league and need the cash....to just remain in business

so we get a whitewash...again
