I'll be at the game in Pittsburgh against Milan. Any other Rust Belt Blues out there planning to be there?

Stupid thing to say about the most beautiful country on Earth bar none. West coast is sublime. Seen some lovely places around the planet but nothing matches it. Dundee itself I can't speak about as have never been.

The trouble with Scotland is that it is full of Scots. So said Edward the 1st King of England and hammer of the Scots.

Ha, lots of northern English migrants on the western isles, most of the Scots seem to be in England or Oz. I like the Scots anyway, north and west of these islands should be sticking together. We have a common ancestry that we do not share with the south east.

For anyone confused about our tribal ancestries in the UK here is a map showing dominant gene patterns.

It's been a while since I have been to Dundee but it gets the least amount of sun in the UK. It makes Glasgow and Manchester seems positively sun soaked. I understand it has had a lot of money has been spent regenerating the harbour area and it looks quite nice these days.

If anyone wants to go for the weekend and see a bit if scenery I highly recommend basing yourself in Perth. Beautiful part of the country and only about 20 mins on the train to Dundee. St Andrews is not too far away either.

Given we don't play friendlies for no reason these days and looking at the rest of the fixture list which makes sense from a PR / Financial point of view. I wonder if we will announce some sort of tie up with Dundee nearer the time, loan a few youth players there way or something so they play as a group in a competitive setting. If we went the whole way like New York/Melbourne I can't think of a better PR stunt than a team called City fucking over Celtic. Then again, New York/Melbourne/Dundee doesn't really go.

North West has more viking than any other part of UK but still predominantly celt in origin. Normans formed the upper classes but didn't interbreed much, midlands, east and south predominantly anglo-saxon. Hope that helps you identify yourself as you have clearly been misled.

Unless you're writing in Anglo-Saxon, it's 'They're shit' not 'Their shit'.

And if you're pulling up shit at football, unless your Argentinian, Brazilian, Italian, German or Spanish, I'd keep your head down.
