I'd like a couple of those cunts from Athletic. Some fantastic players there.

Isco? Failed to be a regular starter and they have a great relationship.

No. Fuck Isco.

We need only a CB, and Ross Barkley.

Done.

Cheers

Im sure that never would have happened with Mancini

Some people can't help themselves. Maybe try and enjoy the moment?

I accept that my short comment without explanation could be seen as a cunts comment, but there was no criticism implied, simply observing a difference - a difference that can now be observed given that we have won the league under both managers.

I just feel the scene was absolutely typical of the change in spirit that Pellegrini seems to have brought to the club that the players feel comfortable doing that, showing a closeness between coach and players.

By the same token, I doubt very much it would ever have been done to Baconface, yet I can see it happening with Mourinho - all indications of the types of relationships each manager forms with their teams.

The players obviously respect him 100%.

They appear to like him as evidenced in the joyous scenes after the game.

They most importantly, have bought into his philosophy and way of playing. Next year we will only improve. 2 defeats in last 27 is testament to this. We will be favourites again and it promises to be another great year for City

Just watched the recording. Looked like YaYa was the catalyst to go get him, got Vinny with him and the rest followed!

The way they celebrated with him showed to me how the players feel about pellers - a domestic double in his first prem season - genius!

That last game showed Rodgers who the boss was - 2-0 up and only needing two goals for the Prem record, so the Gaffer starts rotating his key men and strengthening the midfield to see the match out. Result first and foremost, the record can wait until some other season.

I love him and have since he arrived. Glad he's bought himself the time to turn us into something beautiful. I have watched football in this country for more than 40 years and have not seen a team play better than we did in the first 20-30 mins away at Tottenham and I reckon that'll not be unusual under Pellegrini next season. God bless him.

He's learnt a lot during the season. I think early on the players didn't play the way he wanted them to and I think he thought games against lower teams would be as easy as they often are in Spain.

If we can keep the key players a bit fitter next season so we can get them on the pitch at the same time, who knows what we could achieve.

Spot on. A lesson in how to close a game out. No drama, no panic, job done calmly without a chink of light offered to The Hammers or scouse.
This season has been such great fun. I was a Manuel licker from the start. We played in the manner I always thought we could and should have.

The wise old owl. Congratulations Manuel! Great achievement to win Prem title at first tilt with a team he hadn't known before, kudos.

Exuded calm and carried himself with great composure (which I'd say pleases Sheikh Mansour & Khaldoon no end) throughout the ups and downs of the season which filtered down to players and everyone else involved with the club.

Bodes well for next season.

I loved Pellegrini from his Villarreal days and was delighted when we got him. Couldn't be happier that he's proved all his doubters wrong (no trophies won in Europe, etc. etc.). The fact that he also gotten one over on Maureen, who has thrown all manner of hideous abuse and poison at him over the years for no fucking reason whatsoever, is also fantastic.

Add Pardew and Brenda to the list of other managers who showed a total lack of respect to him this season, and can now fucking do one as El Ingeniero parades two trophies through the city today.

God bless you, Manuel. You've done all of us degreed engineers in the Western Hemisphere very proud.
