No clue where the homegrown/English contingent is going to come from then.

Injuries aside, I don't know why everyone would be so quick to ship Rodwell out. Young, Engish, previously highly rated - with FFP, it might well be in our benefit to give him more time, now Pellegrini is settled.

He is made of glass though mate, no point if he is a month in month out. Fuck FFP anyway Im sick of their shit

yes and if they go on a spending spree might they not be in FFP danger for the season after?

FFP seemingly doesnt apply to anyone of note except us, which was why it was brought in, and which is the reason why I hope we go to court over it. PSGs lottery win just makes it even more ridiculous. I dont care if we get banned from CL either, they can give our place to everton, will piss scum off even more, the fact that they could have had 5th but still missed out. fuck em. at times you have to stand up for yourself, City can do this now.

One thing I have liked about Lescott is you have never heard him publically moan about not playing. When we score and the camera pans to the bench he always looks delighted.

A top pro, I wish him well.

Totally agree. Would love it, for sentimental reasons, if the club offered him another season on reduced wages. I wonder if he'd take it?

Personally I would sacrifice one of our leftbacks for Luke Shaw, and would like to see Barkley come in to take Rodwell's place.

I laughed when Rodwell got his medal.

Dunno if you saw this, but he was mental and hungry to score today, like he wanted to be his last goal here.

7.50pm Verrrry encouraging from Sergio Aguero: "Next season maybe my English gets a little better."

Came on when we were 2.1 down against Sunderland, not sure if he played a part in the goal. Maybe give him a year but see how he is in pre season.

Also what Ross said about lescott, think it was palace away where he celebrated like a mad man when we scored. He has more right than anyone to have a moan so wouldn't of blamed him, love him more wish he would stay!
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has been a good pro and knows what is like to play in the Championship and average Premier League teams, he could have gone at Xmas if he wanted to be a reserve at the World Cup. I like that he wanted to stick around to be around success, soak it all in as it will be the last time he gets near this level. He got to play at the Nou Camp in the Champions League and pick up a league winners medal. Much better than hanging around mid level Premier League teams going nowhere. He has been there done that and will be doing so again soon.

I don't want him to stay as it is a waste of a good player. He is on big wages and will effectively start 4th choice next season. We could get someone on a quarter of his wages to take his place next season.

All the best to him but it is time for him to go.

Barry and Lescott a given

Wright will stay as the other keepers like him and he's no threat but fills in the criteria

Garcia May go back to Benfica if we get Fernando from Porto

Richards is done to The dippers as a make weight in the Suarez to City deal. Rumour but believe it's done.

Also heard that Cleverly is off to arsenal!!! HAHAHA

It was a chocolate one he threw into the crowd not his winners medal.

He won't be on that big a wage wherever he ends up, even though he's on a free. If we can get a decent replacement for a decent fee, then fine, but we can't spend £20m+ on a third choice and they'd want the same wages anyway. I'd have been tempted to try and get Lescott to stay for another year to allow us to have another look at Nastasic and to maybe allow one other to settle.
