Leaving shortly for the 90 minutes drive to Al Ain to see the match. It's sold out and expected to be quite an exciting event for local football fans. The stadium is brand new and supposed to be state of the art. We'll see !!

Enjoy, we expect a full run down on facilities, prices inside the stadium, price of pies and varieties :-)

Apparently, they have some important games coming up, so it's a very much a friendly to them as well.

Pity, as I was hoping to see how Omar Abdulrahman, looked vs our players in a semi competitive game. Looked a very very promising talent & of course we tried to sign him a while back.

CITY XI: Pantilimon, Kolarov, Boyata, Clichy, Richards, Nastasic, Rodwell, Garcia, Lopes, Nasri, Jovetic #alainvcity #mcfc

Is Kolarov on the wing or is it 5 at the back?

Our subs are: Wright, Leigh, Huws, Bytyqi, Hiwula.

Will be interesting to see some of the lads, even if it is just a friendly

They have a Cup final on Sunday against League winners AlAhli. Omar is playing and has had some nice touches. No Gyan though.
