Barry doesnt even make bench??? To be honest Im just lookin forward to seeing what he can do with the current players. He might get the lads playing some great football!! But saying that, we do still need to tighten the defence. A left back is a must.

I agree with that. Maybe a defender or two but first and foremost I'm looking forward to see him organise us into well oiled machine. It will take same but he will sort it.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Buffon
Maicon--Chiellini--Carvalho--Lahm
Essien
Ronaldo--De Rossi--Robinho
Pato--Fabiano

I could live with that.

I'd feel sorry for Essien playing behind those five primadonnas, they'd be on their arse for most of the game. Love Essien though, if i could pick just one player from that 11, I'd take him.

Would love either one of those lineups in this thread but Bellers would have to play!

If you look at the players who we have been linked with-
Ribery
Cordoba
Maicon
Chelleini
Simon Kjaer
Cassano
Yaya
D Rossi
And many more!

Who knows what team we could end up with come the end of January. Only a few days away from the start of the Roller coaster and i can not wait!!

Four primadonnas. De Rossi is not one, and he's one of the best defensive midfielders around, so I would feel sorry for both him and Essien there, also considering that the full backs aren't the soundest around defensively so Essien and De Rossi would have to cover for those two too.

TALKING ABOUT DREAMS and definitely not by january:

--------------------- Julio Segio ---------------------------
Maicon--- Kjaer --- Lescott --- Dani Alves (Cole)
------------------ Essien --------------------
Aquilani ------- Gerrard ------- Robinho
------------------ Tevez --------------------
------------------ D. Villa --------------------

Subs: Given, Zabba, Richards, Kompany, DeJong, SWP, Barry, RSC, Pazzini

Will lightningly move to Manchester even selling hot dogs..... lol

By the window will feel great with Maicon--- Kjaer and some good luck with injured early recovery

Seriously? Julio Sergio as in the Roma keeper? I am surprised by how good he has been this season, but I wouldn't go as far as putting him in a dream team.

But as dream teams go, I'd be happy with this:

Julio Cesar/Given
Dani Alves----Mexes----Chiellini----Clichy
De Rossi----Ireland
Messi---Tevez----Robinho
Torres

Chiellini and De Rossi are good shouts, we wouldn't concede as many with them in the team.

It would make sense for Mancini to bring in some players familiar with his methods and style, just like Hughes did. The difference being that Mancini's chosen players will likely be a step above. I expect two to arrive together before the end of Jan. You heard it here first.

The Special One won't be up for selling at the moment so The Chosen One may have to cast further afield than Inter.
