Surrey Mirror exclusive - Ivan Rakitic

Sadly I cant find any 'reports in Spain' or in Spanish, even in Sevilla. I suspect they have been listening to Talkshite Spanish Expert. But we'll have to wait and see.

Liverpool and Chelsea have been tracking him for months but Manchester City are set to table a bit d for Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic that would blow their Premier League rivals out of the water.

Rakitic looked set to turn down advances from the Premier League with Liverpool and Chelsea making little secret of their interest.

Reports from Spain suggest the Croatian was ready to commit his future to Sevilla, signing a new contract.

However, the midfielder's plans have been swayed by interest from the Premier League champions, with Manchester City ready to splash their considerably large qualities of cash the La Liga club's way to secure the 26-year-old.

Except we don't have "large quantities of cash" and we're only gonna make 3 signings, center back, right back, and probably Fernando

Ah but we are going to sell Richards at the very least, possibly also Milner who is more valuable. Possibly Rodders. Plus also we have all the ties with Sevilla...........................

He would directly replace Jimmy M or Rodders

pretty sure cannot let Lescott go, sell Micah, Milner, and Rodders. that leaves 1 Englishman at the club.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Cheshire Today + Kai Jthree or it isn't true.

Also, his game is pretty similar to that of Jovetic.

You joking he has insane season in Spain , one of players who can rest Silva and City feel nothing .Great player, just a matter of price.Won Europa league with Sevilla that means they are in CL next season. Doubt Sevilla with let him go without big pricetag.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I think it is from next year that the Europa league winner gets a Cl berth. The prize money is 5 million euros according to wikipedia.

Class player but might want more game time than we can promise him. Big rumours of a move to Real Madrid for him
