Timeline was: agent goes off on one in paper, Yaya's Twitter laughs it off and then says only believe what comes out of his mouth. Agent says Yaya didn't tweet it and then new tweets appear saying my agent speaks for me and I'll speak after world cup. Various tweets get deleted and somewhere in all that, Yaya appears on TV and says who knows where I'll be playing and my agent knows what to do. Agent then says he may stay if we give him a job as a car park attendant once he finished playing. World's media think "than God, we were struggling to find anything to write about until the world cup starts"

Think that covers it.

What a pile of crap for nothing !
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I think he should be offered one. But not like Vieira.

If he's willing to put the time & effort into learning, like Vieira has, then he could be found a job of equal importance, but I don't recon he would have any interest in that at all.

But no reason he can't go round opening schools & eating prawns, provided he realises it will be him who has to do it, working for the club, & his agent will no longer have any involvement.

Well, that's patently untrue. Only yesterday I bought a Mr Kipling fruit cake from Tesco and have just eaten it.

He could start in the car park after matches, as they always need helping directing the cars and work his way up from there. If he's going to be here for life, he's got plenty of time for promotions

tbh what would yaya do after he stops playing? he clearly is brain dead given this recent saga so it is not like he could hold a trusted position. And vieira has got the youth side covered.

Surely we can just edit Noolies name out tomorrow and pop yaya in place and keep that birthday thread going another 351 days.

As I understand it, Yaya is heavily into all the football theory kind of stuff & is always writing down ideas etc with that in mind.

At Ciy though, they would most likely expect him to put in the hard yards learning the details, like Vieira has, & I'm not convinced Yaya would be up for that. He'd want to be straight into a power job.

If they could make him some kind of international City football ambassador or something, then maybe both parties could benefit from it. He could really open more doors & increase the profile further, as well as finding players. Too close to home & his agent will be picking fights with Vieira, looking for a future managerial job.

I would guarantee him SWEET FUCKALL for any future City job.....who the fuck does he think he is? we pay him over 200 k per week to play football, so he either gets on with the job in hand or he asks for a transfer.

The other players like Kun and Silva must think he's a fuckign cunt for the way this cake gate has gone on.

They have got more sense. They are on holiday & not in the least concerned.

Silva just says he's never seen Yaya unhappy. I think that's giving folks a clue
