with the play of this back 5 for Atletico its no surprise that, when those 5 play together, they haven't lost in 13 months

Averaging 1 goal every 2 games, including the winning goal in the cup final, suggests he does.

He's done very well in his first season there, regardless of the outcome of this game.

He's a fantastic player who has a very bright future ahead of him.

He's had a good season. Should have scored tonight though. Especially the 3rd chance. If he cuts inside again he's got an open goal.

Simeone Manager of year , must be if they win this.

Real deserved the equaliser. Cracking header from Sergio Ramos. Di Maria's been great this half. If Ancellotti doesn't get the Decima he's probably got the tin tack instead.

Real had been pressing for a long time but Atletico's defending was magnificent right up until the 93rd minute.

Momentum is with Real now so Simeone needs to get his team motivated now!

For the record, once again, even in a game involving two Spanish teams; a great big, fuckoff, crucial goal, comes from a corner kick.

Some of us argued this point for years.

City are now amongst the best at corner kicks.

Just a pity we didn't try and win some corners vs Barca...

Have you noticed how much Gabi looks like Kolarov?

Looks like Reals trophy now unless Atleti can take it to penos
