We have a more than decent GK. He is british. He has made more than enough game saving saves.

Surely there are other positions that require more power.

Like silva... if we get Isco would'nt the loss of Silva to injury be softer?

If we got Sanchez, would'nt that bring another element to our game?

sanchez felt he was doing us a favour by even considering signing for us. we are past that stage now.

yeah yeah we are big time now. Get over the recentment.

Imagine if we signed Sanchez and Isco. We would have wone the PL by about 20 points...

Not di Maria. His final ball is dreadful.

Well now Evra's off the table I just don't know. But if I had to pick, I'd say a big dominating centrehalf, someone along the lines of Hummels.

To make a difference, a centre half. But for a more offensive signing, I was very impressed by Sanchez at the Etihad, mainly due to his work rate.

Isco would be another who could improve us, or certainly the squad.

After that, I'd say whoever Atletico plan to replace Costa with, as he's sure to be another top class forward.

Don't know about him being a "big dominating centrehalf" but I do like the look of that Atletico player called Miranda.

Their left-back (Luis Felipe) looks pretty useful as well.

You do realise that signing him gives everyone another stick to beat us with if the coach decides hes not quite good enough to start every single game, no matter how tired or out of form?..because as hes english hes automatically brilliant and its our fault if England dont win the world cup or european championship?.and if we do sign him its nasty City buying the league?... other than than that its a sound choice mate

sorry mate Im in anti-City overdrive..Lallana is a good shout

Benatia , Godin , It is damn interesting that on dream singing u almost all do not put CD who lack of killing us constantly in games we need to win in CL and some other games.Yes Demi had good part of season but he still slow and against really great teams when we attack we always felt that.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I think Hazard would make our attack complete. He was very good at ours in Feb.

I went skulking about on a Barca forum before we played them. The general consensus was if Alexis was picked they'd be playing with 10 men.

Bit harsh but you get the picture!

I watch a lot of Barca so im a bit baffled by the Sanchez love in on here. He's not as fast as most think and he doesn't dribble as much as you'd think either. He's a good player, yeah, but he'd only be a squad player here at most

That's not to say he doesn't have ability by the way... cos he clearly does and he does some great things, but he blows hot and cold and I think he'd struggle in the premier league.

If we were to sign one of Barca's squad players from their forward line id prefer Pedro personally. Once again, not great, but refreshingly nippy and direct though personally I think Lopes has all the necessary ability to perhaps match that himself one day with a bit of luck and confidence.

He would be my dream signing but can't see it happening, that ship has sailed.

So it's Marco Reus for me
