No WUM, hes passed on.

That said it wont make a blind bit of diff where Utd are concerned as old Malcolm's been incapacitated since 2006 after a series of strokes anyway, so hasn't been a factor at Utd for nearly a decade. His 4 sons will continue to run the show.

Does this mean the Rag hardcore will return from FC United?

I dont think it will impact the rags as it was his sons who ran everything anyway.

Turns out he's not the heartless old cynic everyone thought! Apparently, in his will he's left all his debt to the rags....

That's two legends lost to the club in a couple of months. Good work Malcolm and David, enjoy your rest, whether heavenly or earthly; it was well-earned.

Probably the shock of the fall in share price - that Moyse has a lot to answer for (or take credit - depending on your POV)

Firstly, RIP to the bloke.

Secondly, now he's gone from this green earth, how long will it be until the rest of the clan start trying to cut his legacy up for themselves?

RIP.

Not sure it makes any difference to them at all, as he was not really managing things anyway. They have a huge debt, which is fully pardoned by FFP, so on they go. They're key G14 players, it'll be alright in the end.

RIP Malcolm, you brought them more success than their reaction to your passing deserved.

The sons are the directors, I suspect business as usual.

I'm hoping his sons go off the rails, partying in Vegas and paying for it by more loans against the rags.

But you're right, they still did well with him owning them, just most were too blind to see it

Wont be long before one or two of the sons want the cash and they sell up to some billionaire. Saudi most probably. The price would be upwards of a billion so there will be dollar signs in theur eyes. Its only the same as three or four siblings inheriting a house and needing to sell it because a couple need the money for other things.

Perhaps it's just me but i can't see any billionaires from middle east countries buying into the Rags , unless at a discounted price.

I doubt it, mate. I think they'll continue to use like a cash-machine.
