Ronaldo has gotten improved contract a couple of time since joining Real. I think it's either something we are going to have to learn to accept being at the top end or realize we won't hold onto those types of footballers if we are able to attract them or they come through the academy.

I agree that others have there agents leaking things to the media about to force a improved contract. The only difference is that actually have someone with half a brain working for them. I honestly think the image of Messi is one big myth created by his PR people and Barca. It helps that he rarely does interviews because we might actually get to see who he really is.
