The account is still there but locked, so only approved people can see it ie no one. It's so he can concentrate on the world cup, which is strange since it's clearly just some office bod typing them

Well, he's already on a massive contract ... That means all the games are going to be played out on a massive scale. Agent talk has to be crazier, player talk has to be bigger ... He'll hit us up for a deal to his retirement with a look at moving to the back office, ala vieira.

I don't think he's a cunt, he's just playing the game. Don't hate the player, hate the game. right?

And id like to add that all the slagging off he's been getting from City fans over this "cake gate scandal" has made him back track on a lot of this shite that's been spewed out...so yes, it does help that we voice our displeasure at greedy fuckign cunts holding us to ransom in one form or another.

I fully expect him to turn out for us next season. I just hope he doesn't get a penny more than he's on now.

who cares if he gets more? i hate the way he's handling this, but he's one of the best in the world on current form and i think has at least 1-2 more years at this level. Another 25K a week won't kill us if he gets something out of this for his hard work.

The fact that the club has worked hard to get rid of this type of shit has nothing to do with it?

I'd give him fuck all and tell him to get on with it, done with the greatest respect .... and a cake.

It sets a bad precedent, both in terms of what it suggests to other players and in terms of Toure himself. They're paid to play well and should not be encouraged to think that they can hold the club to ransom if they have a good season. A good season should be the least that is expected of them and they are handsomely rewarded for it at our place.

I'm a football fan and my only love is for City ( & Alan Titchmarsh), but I am as fickle as the rest of ya. If he stays and bags loads of goals next season then I will endure a love fest for him. If however after all this he fucks off then naturally I hope he gets the clap and his cock drops off :-)

Take all this in context with the Chairman's comments in part one of his interview - it's a complete polar opposite of what he was talking about and almost makes him look foolish. If I was the chairman and something like this happened just after that interview I'd be pissed off.

Agree with both the last two posts.
Definitely doesn't come over too "holistic" but really fear for our chances next year without him.

He moved to us after last WC didn't he? Perhaps this was always part of his grand plan.

Toure is just behaving like all of the other top world class footballers. Messi has never gone about it the way Toure has but he has gotten an imporved contract 6 of the last 7 years. Ronaldo has gotten improved contract a couple of time since joining Real. I think it's either something we are going to have to learn to accept being at the top end or realize we won't hold onto those types of footballers if we are able to attract them or they come through the academy.

i think both Messi and Tranny did similar things in terms of having their camp leak to the press that they wanted out, etc. Maybe it was a little more polished, but it was the same crap. As with Rooney.

Par for the course i guess. Where does he work that he thinks he needs to be a giant cunt to get paid "market value"?

Playing devil's advocate....im sure most players all have a set of handlers...agents, managers, PR people, etc who are whispering in their ear about how short their half life is in this business and that they need to aggressively pursue the almighty dollar while they can because clubs are fickle and don't give two fucks about players at the end of the day if situations change or their skills slightly diminish. And they'd be right in saying that tbh.

True, but he could have gone to the chairman first and said 'look Kaldoon, I know you pay me a fortune but I am far and away the best midfielder in the league and I think I'm worth more but I'd rather do it in a dignified way than through twitter'. Would have been worth a try.

I agree that others have there agents leaking things to the media about to force a improved contract. The only difference is that actually have someone with half a brain working for them. I honestly think the image of Messi is one big myth created by his PR people and Barca. It helps that he rarely does interviews because we might actually get to see who he really is.

Totally agree. They'll be more than one greedy bastard at the club but none of them go about getting more money in this way, it stinks.

He hasn't actually done anything at all though.

The interview he gave after his agent spoke, is almost word for word the same as one he said a week earlier, about which not one of you batted an eyelid. It's almost identical. He was even saying similar stuff during the season.

It's the stuff written by his agent which you lot are replying to, not what you know for sure Yaya has said. You have taken the decision to be offended, wheras I have just ignored it as a load of bollocks created by a known troublemaker, & am not offended in the slightest by anything Yaya has done.

Has Aguero cleared up the bollocks by his own father saying he wants to sign for Barcelona yet ?

Nobody is arsed that he hasn't I take it ?

No, me neither. Same thing.
