Commentators blasting Milner.

This is why he hates this garbage playing fullback. If he gets beat he's crap.

Also did they comment about his sweet ball to help create the goal that cunt hair poked in? A: No.

Milner has had a couple of bad touches but not so many as Wilshire, Lampard. Other than that he's doing pretty well & is one of England's best attacking options.

Rooney is just playing the same selfish fucking shit that we've seen from Beckham, Lampard & of course we've got Gerrard to look forward to. Every fucking touch has to be a statement. There was a great ball from Milner which put him 2v1 with Lambert. All he had to do was lay it off. Didn't even know Lambert was there.

This is the problem we have had with these cunts for years. Beckham, Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard all doing a fucking party piece each instead of just knocking the ball around. They should drop all of the cunts before it rubs off on Barkley etc. Wilshire is already heading that way. Sturridge won't need much persuading to turn into a glory ball cunt.

Drop the cunts & build for the future. Let the kids learn to pass the ball to each other without those self centred egotistical wankers getting in the way. All it needs is one spectacular shot to go in, & the cunt will get motm.

It's not how you play football. Swap Rooney & Lampard for Silva & Yaya, & England would be 6 up at half time.

Id pick Milner ahead of Johnson. At least hes got a football brain...id play him v honduras and give him confidence. Bear in mind weve got wilshere and lampard strolling around not wanting their hair gel to run. I dont see england with a player like de jong/fernando to hunt it down when we lose it. Its not all bad though...Barkley is a talent who should be allowed to express himself....chamberlain is lively also...id bring sterling on the left for wooney and henderson for wilshere after an hour

Quite an open and entertaining game for this stage of the warm up, loads of mistakes; not sure we're learning a lot about the England squad. I hope Filipe scores.

The City first 11 would thrash both of these line-ups. No great insight I know, but I do still enjoy being able to say it.

Agreed, but at least Milner's been played out of position, the others haven't.

Milner is never ever in a month of Sundays a 90 minute player..no matter where he plays.

Wasn't entirely convinced by Barkley a while back but I'm starting to see a potential replacement for yaya.

That is so typical England; even when it goes right, it goes wrong.

There was a period where a bit of style & confidence started to appear, almost a bit of swagger, & I was praying he'd take Rooney off for Lalana. Then Chamberlain goes & Sterling comes on & just charges around like a fucking 10 year old, running head first into trouble.

The two incidents combined completely put the brakes on, & got Rooney out of jail. Really a near miss on starting a team there I think. Probably gone forever now.

I thought Milner did ok but got tired, as did Barkley & several others. Probably going to be a big problem; keeping the tempo going in the heat. Tbf to fat Frank, he was a lot less showoff & more workmanlike 2nd half.

It's a pity Wilshire is such a big headed diving cunt. He could be exactly what England need. But he will just end up letting them down, same as Beckham & all the rest.

Honestly, quite enjoyed that.

Most importantly, it was an England friendly which didn't bore me to tears. That is progress. Barkley, Ox-Cha are genuinely exciting players.

The whole back 4 was shaky, but I don't think we'll be seeing any of them start games. Would've liked Hodgeson to have put in some of the starting back 4 for consistency.

Sending off was terrible.

Roy won't quite have the balls to drop Rooney but I think people are beginning to see the truth now. Still think England won't make the knockouts but maybe they'll put up a better fight than I first thought.
