Baines would have a shot - he'd probably end up first choice at City. Cahill has been great for Chelsea this year. He'd get games. Agree regarding Barkley and Sterling too and i reckon Pellers would love Lallana. So there's a few, but yeah City are vastly better obviously.

I don't get the llallama love. He seems above average at best. And he's fucking geriatric for all this "potential" which folks bandy about. He's in his prime. If he isn't amazing now then he'll never be.

I agree. He's an alternative for an England player in that he can pass a ball a bit & do the odd clever touch, but David Silva will be better at 36 than Lallana is now.

I expect our academy to sell off better players than him in the future.

Only 1 of that England squad could get into our best starting 11, Joe Hart. That speaks for itself as to why we shop abroad. England were crap.
