I like a bit of rough and tumble but in todays game that was a sending off, quite simple. Muller should've been shot for his play acting before tbf.

Let the Rags or Red Scouse pay stupid money for him ;-)

Name 5 better defenders in the last 12 months?

I can get to 3 or 4...but not 5.

cheers

His ability isn't the issue with me . It's the fact that the cunt will let you down time and again £30 million for a player with his short fuse and mentality ........ no fucking chance !

Yes, probably the wrong mindset for the PL!

You know what...down 2-0 and looking like taking a bashing for sure at their biggest group rivals maybe someone needed to have some passion in the face of a cheating little cunt.

Suboptimal... But emotion is why we love this game. You take the good, you take the bad....etc...facts of life.

Maybe Tranaldo should have stood up to the plate but he looked half arsed yet again when it comes to his country . What Pepe did was fucking pathetic but he does that sort of stuff on a regular basis . Maybe he thought fuck this I'm outta here , red mist etc etc . This sort of player although he has class has no fucking chance of being a success in the English Premier League , we should know with how Mario was singled out and treated .

30 mill for Hummels would be a bargain. Vinny, needs a top class partner long term he would be my choice.

We need pace & defensive ability not just passing; we can play Garcia there otherwise. Most of the players who keep cropping up in this thread are slow & awful 1v1 against pace. Demichelis can already do what Hummels does but he can't catch people 1v1 very comfortably, neither can Vertonghen & many of the other people who keep being suggested.

Hummels when exposed, like he will be every game if he signs for City, is fucking terrible. He's terrible sometimes even when he's not exposed. If we are going to play this way, we need the right players for when we lose the ball; players who can redeem an almost panic situation at times, because they will have to.

Vinny accepts, and gets done himself,Hummels would be a terrific partner and long term investment, 25 he is gonna be a 100 cap German, I say he is what we should be looking at. Not the Pepe types who frankly are cunts of the highest order in the eyes of most and nothing more to offer City, than a Balo MK11 situation, with reds and knob head antics.

We've just got rid of Lescott & he would give all these fuckers a two yard start & fucking piss it past them, plus is better in the air & has been playing in the Prem for ten years.

I thought the idea was to sign somebody quicker & more suited to Pellegrini's methods ?

Chiellini's well past his best. He struggled at times in the England match. If we need a Plan C after Mangala and Benatia he isn't it IMO.
