Top Event of 2009

Just a thought, what was your top moment of the last year. Beating Arsenal 4-2? Signing Adebayor? Something else?

The almost draw at the swamp for me we never gave in that match just got shafted by the officials.

For me it was defo the Arsenal match. In the stands, chaperoned by Andie. Not only a great match by a meet up at the Townley before and after on a beautiful sunny day. Seeing the Ade run in person was just one of the most amazing things i've ever seen at a sporting event. The atmosphere was fantastic. I was buzzing for days and days...

cheers

Arsenal 4 - 2. I felt we'd finally arrived.

I was hoping people would be mature enough and sensible enough to avoid that as a high point, even the ones who were lobbying for it, I should have known the chief licker wouldn't let the thread go without having a jab.

Honestly john, change the fucking record.

Last january's transfer window. Signings of Given and Bellamy have been key to everything positive we've done this year.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

The Ade celebration against Arsenal, had a pal down from Scotland sitting in my lads seat (as he was working) and he enjoyed it as much as we did too

The Hamburg home game. An incredible atmosphere and a really good performance from the lads. It's easy to forget that we actually won!

Hamburg at ours.
Felt like I imagine a proper European night to feel, and the general view was "we better get used to nights like this".
Great performance too
