I'm an old (63 yesterday) blue, one of those who's seen all the ups and downs since they were little kids getting in for free at half time. I like Pelle very much. Even though his subs are a bit baffling at times, I think our current team is great, but could be improved at the back. I like the new signings Pelle brought in, Yaya and Sergio are my heroes. So is Silva, Ferna and Samir. I think we'll win the league this year AND we'll win at Anfield - if not it'll be through Suarse and Sturridge's diving expertise.
Is it okay for me to start posting then?? Will I do?
gazmancity wrote:Hello fellow Blues,
I've been reading this board for what feels like forever, but if pressed is actually about 8-9 years. I actually played for Man City as a youth, training at Platt Lane during the clubs demise from the premier league to the third tier of English football. I was at York away but stood in the home end when we hit rock bottom.
I took city on as my team in 1994 due to playing for them, my dads a Dunfermline fan so I'm thankful I didn't follow him in supporting a Scottish team!!
Anyways I've decided to start posting, I have a season ticket in the East stand and am on this site (lurking) almost as much as I'm reading stuff for work.
Put simply Man City is my life, and like life you have to take the highs and lows
Cheers
Gaz

The winky thing always gives it away ;-)
I didn't get to Maine Road until the 70s, when I was born. Been hooked ever since.
