i'm doubting he had to 'turn down' an offer. Also, do Brasil do non-Brasilian managers? I can't think of one.

Likely just bolloxy bollixxx.

I'd blame the clubs paying 50m for
Luiz, however much neymar ending up costing and anything more than a fiver for hulk.

Clearly this made them think their stars weren't overpriced, prima Donna, self indulgent wank of the highest order.
Tracking back is overrated.

Won 64 of his first 99 league games, only Mourinho has a better record.

The most important thing is not just to win the titles, it's the style in which we win those titles.

"We scored the most goals in the three seasons I have been here and I am sure fans know those things. They enjoy every time we play in the correct way, so it is important to win but in the correct style."

still boggles the mind that he's so hung up on scoring lots of goals. maybe we'd be running away with the league if he'd paid more attention to the defensive aspect of the game.

Couldn't disagree more.

If we'd scored the goals we should've, and have in the past, we'd be well ahead in the league.

This is partially a marketing strategy by the club, and partially his own interest in trying to prove one can focus more on that than defence and slowing the game down, if you ask me.

It's why he was hired in the first place.

Casual fans, as we know, enjoy attacking football and don't want to see teams park the bus or playing long ball. Mourinho, his arch nemesis, is not popular for his style of football or just for winning, but because of his personality and how it affects his team's attitude on the pitch.
