Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

So many - In hindsight - I agree with NQDP those signings have been pivotal - In terms of matches I find it hard to beat the Chelski game but my favourite "event" was the poster campaign and all its fall out - Wonderful stuff

My lowest point was definitely the 97th minute at the swamp

Im still fuclin livid

The purchase of Given
closely followed by the respect we gave to Richard Dunne at Villa Park (at the start and when he scored)

Our worst was the sale of the Dunnie Monster the failure to manage three "first team" centre backs is one thing I wont forgive Hughes for!
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

I loved seeing the Tevez poster for the first time and then the furore that followed

On the field moment....Bellamy's first at the swamp and the celebration that followed

Match....there's been loads that I have loved. Arsenal is probably the top of the tree though

For me it's

1. Hamburg at home the atmosphere in there was fantastic that night.
2. Arsenal 4-2, Chelsea 2-1
3. This seasons Derby at the Swamp even though we lost., it was a great game.

Same as that.

My first away day with City and it was brilliant. Shame we didn't get a win but just to be there was fantastic.

Met some really top blokes from this site as well.

The moment we went 1-0 up away at Hamburg was one of the greatest moments of my life - for a few minutes I actually believed we were going to do it!!!!

Then in good old City style we play shit for the rest of the game :-(

Yeah i'd go along with that, a quality night apart from going out and one hell of a hangover the day after.

Hopefully 2010 highlight is a trip to wembley or/and CL football ;o)

It took a few posts till it was mentioned but without doubt for me it was the Hamburg game because that was the start of a new era, a glimpse at what we're going to be seeing on a regular basis over the next few years/decade

A fantastic atmosphere and a brilliant night

The moment we realised shay had saved the penalty against chelsea. I'm sat in the other end and i've not got great eyes. As soon as we could see the south stand going bananas we were just all hugging and going mental, couldn't really believe it, cos lamps never misses penalties for chelsea, does he?

Shit, I never gave my top event...

Hamburg at home and I was lucky enough to be there.

Copenhagen at home was quality too because of the craic we had with the fans after. They were sound fuckers and I'll never forget how they said to me

"We love that song you fans were singing in the ground - was it, "its a ball its a ball, we are coming"? It makes no sense but it sounds great!"

I told them the actual words were "istanbul, istanbul...." they liked the song even better then!

Ah, happy days.

and more to come I'm sure...

I wish to change my top event to when we sacked hughes.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."
