Stoke are such a dirty side!
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

Something like a 2-0 would be brilliant today, Stoke are no pussies, a clean sheet and a couple of hard worked goals will be a fantastic start for bobby manc.

I cant see them being as competitive in the second half when they have all collected their yellow cards.

Its a new shape, new partnerships all over the pitch due to injury and new ideas.

Patched up team, who are actually doing very well against a wanky tough team of battlers.

We are holding our own and doing very well. Theyve had 1 good chance, we have 3/4. 2nd half and we will come out looking for another and settle down.

Hope we see 20 mins from Weiss, be interesting to see if Mancini rates him higher than Hughes

Not bad, considering how many woeful corners weve taken, and how rusty Robinho is looking.
And Kompany has settled into defence very well, admittedly with a Stoke side lacking a potent offensive threat.

Speaking of the defence, it already looks more composed than it did under Hughes
