Given saved twice and was outstanding today, but Barry in the 1st time and Kompany in the 2nd were my own MOM today!

Tevez for me. Good solid team performance with no poor showings from any of our players, good stuff.

Barry for me. 90 minutes of hard work both attacking and defending.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Nice to see Vinnie playing with confidence back in his old role as CB, but Barry gets my vote today, a really fine display by him on both halves of the pitch.

Two highlights:
- the assist for Tevez
- a nice diving interception in our box midway through the second half that prevented an easy shot

I went for Barry, but think Kompany was a close second.

Thought our defence looked fairly sturdy today. Obviously there's still a lot of improvement required and we'll play against stronger teams, but I think they can all be pleased with their performances today.

Gaz Baz. Great to see him back producing what hes capable of.

I though De Jong and Kompany had great games as well.

Petrov for me. Playing out of position, scoring with his right foot (that alone is MoM for me) and almost scoring another.

I think he has shown this year he deserves ample playing time.

Barry for me, back to the form he showed at the start of the season

Notable mentions to Vinnie, Zabba, Shay, De Jong, Ireland and Petrov though who all played very well

I'd go for De Jong, we look so much more solid and compact when he's in our midfield and i think the trio of him, Barry and Ireland all compliment each other very well.

I'm surprised. I thought Barry played very well today. I didn't expect to write that, because he had been rubbish in
many games recently. However , he was probably the best guy on the park today.

Tevez for me. His hold up play is outstanding and because he's an attacking player, the fact that he played the major contribution in Petrov's goal and then scored a peach himself means he has to get it IMO! 5 goals in 5 games now.

He has become our most important players. I had a feeling he might having watched him for so long before he came to us.

Barry for me - looked more like the box-to-box midfielder I thought we had signed.
