this season is nearly a write off. we need to completely freshen the squad next summer. I believe pogba, shaquiri and/or isco would make us competitive again...it's shocking that we should need to spend so much but we need to do it fast or we will fall further behind the elite and with FFP may never catch up.

I really disagree with that. Milner has been one of our shining lights this season. And to say he couldn't play in Europe, you did watch the game at the Allianz last season didn't you?

Pogba is one every team wants as is Vidal. Isco is a luxury player and Shaquiri is so inconsistent I cannot believe you are even mentioning him.

I meant to post last night after the second goal last night Vinny bellowed at the whole team, "possibly pick up your men for fucks sake".

milner was good at the Allianz (when BM had gone to sleep), but that was basically a one-off and not a true reflection of his usual level. isco has become more of a team player than you give him credit for - he works much harder off the ball than most of our MF. as for shaquiri, though he's gone into hiding at BM, he has excellent pace and bags of potential - watch him playing for the swiss.

shaq is perfect for a mid table team like the rags or scouse. Never ever for City.

One of my main concerns is the fragility of our confidence. Clichy is unfairly pulled up for hand ball. The resultant goal was not his fault but from then on he seemed to disintegrate. Our defence looked utterly devoid of confidence all night long. All it needed were a couple of quick breaking midfielders and Doumba and we were wide open. I suppose ultimately Mangala's pace should help. Ultimately. My other concern is our lack of energy and tempo. When a Moscow attack broke down I was begging for us to move the ball rapidly to exploit a relative lack of numbers but we took far too long and they got their shape back. I think we need to see more athleticism from any new recruits.

So by reading all the above and the varying view points, what's the solution?

The manager needs a kick up the arse otherwise he's toast/gone, because as lazy and inconsistent these players are performing right now, they've proved they are winners

If the manager doesn't go, then the obvious logical action is a major shake up, which leads to the question...,.,,,

Who's in and who's out?

Oh, and let's hope we don't do a Hazard again when we're going for our top targets

These fucking players are treated like royalty at this club, thats from an insider at the club!! They are so far up their own arses its unbelievable, the players that have just signed new contracts have now thought job done now its coasting time again.
pelle is a dead man walking and a shit result at qpr would see him on the brink of dismissal.
the manager and the players are to blame, not ffp, not the fans for being quiet at games, if they actually looked like they gave a shit the fans would get behind them even more.....
Support the badge, players come and go along with managers!!!
