Everton 2 Up...agreed Ted, but fair do's to them... Roy Hodgson is a very good manager

He's doing a fantastic job. Currently, taking circumstances into account, the best managerial performance in the PL imo.

Those 3 points could be crucial for Chelsea. A loss today could've cocked them up seriously.

*** MODS...have changed the thread name, to save some space...amend if you wish***

So we go into this evenings match knowing a defeat would drop us to seventh at worst (with other games in the next few days), but a win by 5-0 could move us into 5th... : )

Any thoughts on selection? I think we could see pretty much the same team as Saturday apart from Bellamy for Robinho. Ade and RSC are (allegedly) definitely out from what I heard earlier.

Would expect the same team except for Bellamy. Presumably he'll put Bellamy on the right unless he fancies Petrov to come in & shoot on his left foot with us having no one to cross to.

Be funny if SWP was fit & played in place of Petrov after his official site outburst.

When Petrov played in Germany, he played as a LH striker in a 4-3-3 and ended up with around 12-15 goals in his best season...from memory.

Maybe we will see a more Robust 4-4-2 this evening, instead of a 4-2-3-1 which the website reckons we played on Saturday

I reckon he's going to put Bellamy in for Robson too, with the same interchanging of positions we saw with Stoke up front, to try and unsettle their back line.

Yeah I remember it, which made all the clueless twats who were moaning at Hughes for playing him there on occasion seem all the more fucking clueless.

Stevie said we started with a 4-4-2 and changed to 4-3-3.. Could he go 4-3-3 away as well now that he saw it worked on Sat?

I can't see why not. Everyone looked happy & played well enough apart from Robbie.

I deffo hope he goes with 4-3-3 again. No need to "fear" Wolves, we have a team strong enough to be taking the game to them, and that's what we should do from the start.

I think if we get an early goal we may move to a 4-3-3. Wolves will be tough on their own patch tonight, but as we saw back in August we should create plenty of opportunities...I just hope we take them

--------------------------PETROV TEVEZ BELLAMY

...with maybe adding Richards and Sylvia starting on the Bench...Zabs at LB, which is how they finished I think? Can't see Garrido starting

Yea we should definitely not underestimate Wolves. They did VERY well against Liverpool and it took a sending off for Liverpool to score.
so now as every enemy circles our city
