how quickly people forget. yes on his day he was awesome, but a bad day for elano was worse than sunday league stuff. it was like playing with nine men when he wasn't up for it. although his range of passing is brilliant, its the only aspect of his game that is truly brilliant. stephen ireland will go on to be the best of elano and so much more.

Thanks for the info mate and that doesn't sound to bad and I bet he's got a few assists as well. The Turkish league is at a similar stage to ours so he must've played in every game. Saying that, those figures may include all games. They topped their group in the Europa so would have played at least 6-8 games in that, and then including the Turkish cup, would be up to aproximately 26 games.

I wonder how many games he actually started and finished?

I can give you an example of Robsons consistency. Here is one and I'm sure ther are many more:
On Oct 24 2007 to 31 Oct 2007 Robson played 3 games and scored 4 goals.A sign of consistency to me cos in that season he started 27/8 games for RM and scored 11 times. The season when he is supposed to have been a bench warmer or used when RM felt like it.Strikes me as lies similar to the ones that are told about Elano being a bench warmer for Shakter .Considering thier league is made of 16 teams so they play less games anyway.
That is consistency for me.
Being the top scorer for us last year had a few weeks of consistency thrown in there from what I saw.
Could you give me the facts of his inconsistency to make it a bit clearer:)

I'm amazed.... 4 pages so far discussing a player who no longer plays for us, and who preferred moving to the Turkish league....
I must remember to get a new signature.....

If Elano is that amazing, why has he only ever played intermittantly for Shaktar, in a mid table Man city side and for
Fenerbache?
