AKA Dalziel, after a short illness.
Gave a speech in the City at the start of our first title parade.
BBC says he starred in Clockwork Orange, I never knew that.

RIP Warren. A sad loss for the film and tv industry. Great actor.

I'd not known he was a City fan until I saw him on TV that day. Bet the poor bugger thought, like I did, that he'd never see us lift the League again after so many years.

He is indeed, mr mool. I had a chat with him in a restaurant in town after we'd been beaten at home by arsenal a few years back. I think he was in there with Gary Owen. Anyhow, nice chat and a lovely bloke. God bless him.

Remember seeing him interviewed on The One Show just after Sven was sacked, looked totally shellshocked and didn't want to talk about anything but City and what seemed like a bleak future. Glad he saw some more glory days before he passed. That aside, he was a fine actor who I really liked and he will be very much missed. Nice Work with Hayden Gwynne was probably the highlight for me.

For those of you who have come across him, what was he like away from the cameras ??
On the screen, he seemed, largely, to portray characters who were bluff and forthright but is that how he was away from the limelight ??
Always enjoyed him in Dalziel and Pascoe.

Brilliant.
I hadn't seen that, so thanks for posting it and making me chuckle.
Quite a legend all round.

The first time I came across him was as the owner of a football club in "the manager." Remember that show about a female manager? I remember liking it at the time but I suspect if I watched it again I'd cringe the whole way through.

The Manageress. Loved it at the time but agree it would probably be a difficult watch now.
