Aguero

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Agreed, when he isn't scoring he's assisting or being involved.

This is the Aguero we saw in his first game, first few games.

I also think there is a strong partnership with Jovetic starting to flourish.

The best player in the Premier League. Simple as that. If he stays fit he will break all kinds of records

I agree, but his injury record is shocking, I actually winced when he hit that shot last night as I was genuinely worried he might pull a hammy!

As for Sergio's fitness, he said himself in one of the OS interviews, that he has not had a proper pre-season for years. Hopefully now we will reap the benefit of giving him time out after the WC.

Honestly think he's playing at least as good if not better than Messi would do in our team right now.
He's always had the potential but if he stays injury free then he will be regarded in the same light as Ronaldo and Messi. Wonderful player.

I just wish someone could find him a nice Lancashire lass to settle down with like Kompany did, then he'd be sure to stay.

what more could we ask for from a player?

some magnificent performances of late that i gather have galvanized the rest of the team. leading by example on the pitch.

great to know he's a blue, and has declared he wants to stay until we win even bigger trophies...even likes the weather!

Give over.

Tranny already has over 20 in la Liga alone. Aguero is on fire but he is not the best in the world

Ah, but Aguero wasn't fit for the first six to eight weeks of the season.

Ronaldo wouldn't have scored that many in this league in any team. He's brilliant definitely but he's in a Real team that scores on average 4 a week at least and gives him numerous clear cut chances per game. Sergio would have the same in that scenario in this form but instead he was in our team that has struggled for form until now and still has as many as he does.

Aguero in his career hasn't been on the same level as Ronaldo or Messi. He has been a reasonable distance short of their best level. Right now though, the last few games, where he has started passing as well as scoring, he is most definitely on that level.

Ronaldo or Messi would not find the Premier League as easy as they do La Liga. It is a different kind of challenge. They would still excel, but not 50 goals a season.

We should not underestimate what Aguero is doing right now. If he keeps it up, he is on par with those two.

I'm sorry, I'm shite at putting pics etc. up.

Can someone tell me wtf is going on with the rooney v aguero stats that are doing the rounds on facebook?

That rooney has scored and assisted more goals in the same amount of games since aguero joined?!

Something's not right there...

Aguero is light years ahead of Ronaldo.
