Neither would get in Bayern's team on that showing, nor would Dzeko, who was doing a token job. If they all pulled their weight, like Muller, Robben, Ribery do (& Pozo, Ambrose etc did this morning) Yaya would have much less work to do & then people can point the finger. On a night like tonight, all the forwards should be putting in the kind of workrate Milner did, but they don't even do half of it. Only when they feel like it. And Kolarov is another.

pretty much how i see it. Easy to slag some of Milner's final balls, and rightfully so, but if we could rely on any of the cunts mentioned to do their actual fucking jobs then it wouldn't be an issue.

Silva was diabolical today. Absolutely demonically shit.

I wish we could play another match tomorrow because i feel like i just got throatfucked by some dude on monster cocks dot com.

The plus for me today, was watching the kids, in blowing wind, on a shit pitch, with a shit ref, doing all the stuff the first team don't do. And they don't even have a balanced side; little Spanish rb playing at cb. If we scrape into the Europa, I'd like to see some get a game.

Yaya's games been slowly coming together for a few weeks now. Hopefully this season he wil be like one of his runs, slow and lumbering at first but ultimately sublime and unstoppable.

Those who say he's trying harder, could just as well say Aguero or Fernandinho are trying harder. Zabaleta, Clichy, Jovetic.

The team is playing better, some look fitter now & are getting around the pitch better, Yaya was at the same level as the rest three weeks ago, & is at the same level as the rest now; that level just happens to be higher.

Nothing to do with attitude. It's people seeing what they want to see, when it suits the argument.

Last night, Sunderland's first attack, Yaya let his man go & left us with a 3v3 at the back. Just like he always has; no difference whatsoever. Just happens to be in better form, in a team which is playing better.

The rest is a great big hairy set of bollocks you are making up.

Well he won't be around in a months time so we'll see. That's when Fernando and Fernandinho will have to step up to the plate.

If Fernando can also get his game upto his best level, we have no worries imo. He hasn't been match fit since that injury. He started the season off the pace, then well & truly reached it, then got injured. Now he is down on both speed & stamina. When he was 100%, his defensive covering reminded me of Colin Bell; exceptional.

We are not seeing that player at the moment.

In my view he's a definite step up from Garcia because he's so much more mobile. I'm not worried about him at all. To be honest he's not as good as Matic though imo.

If there's one player who's form has provided a catalyst for our upturn in fortunes I'd say it's Fernandinho.

He seemed well off his best until the last international break, it seems to me that he may have exorcised them demons he was carrying from the Germany humiliation when he put in a MOTM performance for Brazil against Turkey.

He returned rejuvenated. Him playing at his optimum allows Yaya the freedom to impose himself on the game and we're the better for it.

I absolutely agree, lovely to see him back. He's had a couple of good games this season but it seems he hasn't hit form until recently.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Made even worse that he has to pretend he was injured now.

What does Yaya Touré do? Carries our club, and always has, that's what. This current side is finished once Yaya leaves, the board don't have the bollocks to replace him with a genuine star like Pogba. It'll be all downhill without him.
