Tevez

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Tevez

I thought we were told he doesn't score many goals!!

He is going to be a legend if he carries on like he is!

I always thought he would be, and I'm glad he's proving me right.

Easy to understand why Bellamy likes playing with him. I'm sure he appreciates his work rate as well as his skill.

Tevez's goals are all the sweeter knowing the rags are more gutted with everyone that goes in.

Plus 4 of those for the rags were in the Champions League which he isn't in with us. So as a direct comparison he only needs to score 4 more...

Having said that the idiot rags may have had him as a sub a few times in that season (07 - 08) rather than us who play him every game. Ferguson got Tevez completely wrong.

And that makes it all the sweeter seeing him do the business for us

Not at all! The scum fans loved him and begged baconface and the board to sign him but they didn't. No he is ours and he looks like he is going to become a City legend!

Nothing wrong with comparing his record with the 2 clubs as far as I can see.

I was informed he was just an expensive Vassell.

I thought he would end up a better player for us than he ever was for them, 8 more goals in well less time should bang that fact home.

The goals he is putting in for us is going to be massive for him come summer - he was on the verge of being fucked off out of the Argentina squad based on his strike rate, despite his good record in Argentinian leage, it was almost accepted that he was not a goal scorer at the top level with West Ham, United and at international level, hence the vassel/dickov comparison. Good to see he is starting to shake that off.

Will be intertesting to see what the view is if he becomes the first player to bag 20 in the league for us for jesus knows how long (David White? Franny Lee?)

He's genius, made that 3rd goal out of nothing. Wish he had got a hat trick though - that move we made was top draw!
