To be fair, what City player would be able to work there now? No one, but in a thew years some of them will. I reckon Vinnie will join MOTD, i have no doubt in that.
Maybe for Sky, Yaya would be a candidate, but they need to celebrate his birthday live on cameras every year.

Why does it have to be a player ? And what is so special about Alan Smith for instance, other than he played for Arsenal ? Dwight Yorke ?
There is nothing to stop them using pundits who are more friendly toward City, they are just choosing to fill the place with cartel members & then what's worse, to almost always use them on our games, but not necessarily on everyone else's.
Newcastle for instance had Taylor doing their game. When we play Arsenal, we'll have two ex Arsenal players & an ex rag.

What about Niall Quinn, Paul Walsh, and Rodney Marsh. They have all played for City and now work in some form of Punditry, they're just not very good at it.

Don't have a problem with Henry joining their team. He was great at the world cup for the beeb and i actually think he'll be as impartial as Neville tries to be.

Well Ted, you answered yourself. Alan Smith was a part of the Arsenal winning team that was considered to make the most dramatic win in the history of the league, before we came in and Yorke, well, because he is a rag.
Sky inveted Big Four and they will stick with it. We won't see guys from Everton, Villa, Spurs there. Agbonlahor is one of the smartest players in football right now, i saw him talking at some point about tactics, but we will never see him because he is not Yorke, Smith, etc.
Is there some ex-chelsea players or stuff guys at Sky right now? I don't think so, the last one i recall was Wilkins. They could bring Paddy Vieira for instace, from our part, but beside that, they don't have options because it won't sell. With Quinn i have mixt feelings.
This is what is all about, selling product with the names that present him. Imho, MOTD has better "football talk", but they have Murphy, Savage, guys that not sell like Carragher, Neville or Redknapp (all three, ex-captains of the two most important teams in England).
I would love to see a City player there, but before Yaya, Vinnie or Hart will retire, there is no way we could see someone on the screen and here i include our past managers.

None of them are supposed to 'represent' anyone. And the key there is; 'tries to be'. He tries a bit, to be impartial with City or Liverpool, but even if he criticises Utd, he ALWAYS finds a positive to push, as in 'they will spend millions' , 'they are playing badly but will get better'. With City it's always 'if they lose here, it's all over' 'if Aguero is injured it's all over' etc etc.
People saying we don't have a representative, Platt & Marwood were never off fucking Sky until they started working for us, then they were phased out. They brought back Platt when he left us & he didn't have one bad word, so they fucked him off.
Have they even ASKED Vieira ?
They are increasing the Chelsea contingent as well now with cunts like Gullit slagging us off.
There are fucking 100s of ex City players who are better on tv than Alan Smith.

I know the video, i had the same opinion + after i've heard he named his son Gabriel Agbonlahor Jr, i was convinced he is really a knobhead, but later on, i've heard him talk a thew times on Talksport, if i recall (i will try and search the link) and my opinion changed 180 %. When it comes to football, he knows his stuff, really good.
