This Weeks Other Games | 13-15 Dec 14

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

That was so typical of so many games we had in the past when we came up against those kind of cunts.

Yes, we knew we were likely to lose against the better side, but when we were still in it, some twat of a ref would extinguish any hope we had of making it a contest, & out we went.

Maureen was waving his imaginary card on the sideline too, it's funny I thought that was frowned upon yet no mention of it from the commentators.

Glad Chelsea still in it tbh but feel for Derby.

I wonder how long it will be before the media are telling us all that Chelsea are certainties to win the 'Quadruple' ??

Chelsea going through was best outcome we could have hoped for. Given Mourinho is respecting the competition and putting out strong teams, it dumps another 2 fixtures on them in January when they will be on the floor physically after the Xmas period. Good good.

Could do with them drawing the winner of the Spurs/Newc tie, or Liverpool, making it a tough 2 legged affair as well.

ideal scenario:
Chelsea to meet Liverpool in the semis please, two tough games and Chelsea to squeeze through and then Liverpools game v us wont be moved as they play Besiktas on the Thursday before they play us.

Agreed. Now we've ensured either Bournemouth win or Chelsea draw Sheff Utd, as that's just too perfect.

Dippers and Spuds winning comfortably, so hopefully two difficult games for the Chavs (if the draw permits) in January.
