Chappy scripted it. I heard him talking about it whilst providing commentary online for cfa training today.

I thought Chappy sounded very 'John Shuttleworth'

Seen it today and the funniest bit for me was him getting OCD on the bin; pencil not too bad either.

Just shows that he's up for a laugh and hopefully a new contract penned in the next few days.

He's showing the sort of form that we all wanted to see from the start. Every team needs a James Milner, his graft alone puts him on the team sheet.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

When we signed him I thought he was a typical, massively overhyped English player who didn't deserve the praise he was getting.
A few years on and he's proven a fantastic signing and always done a job when needed.
He's now 28, in the twilight years of his career and what I am really hoping is he can, like Zabaleta did, really kick on and establish himself as a key player in this team.

Lucky to have him.

A fantastic player who is a key part of our squad. Often seen as just a hard worker, but a very creative player who is instrumental in much of the excellent football we get to see these days.

Would be awful to see him leave us. I think he wants to stay, knowing that any other club would be a step down, and we want to keep him. But the increasing delay in him signing a new deal is a slight worry. Hopefully they'll get something finalised very soon.

Down to JM to sign, the offer has been with him for a long time,

That's the worrying part for me as I think this is true, but he just hasn't signed.

Also, great post by AB. Fully agree with that
