For me it is not about City.

It is the bias FOR Scouse 2 , Rags, Arske and Chavs that is worrying. Burnley, whu, av, everton , qpr and so on are being ignored .Not just City.

An even hand to all teams is all i ask.

Btw, i think most City fans would prefer this.

You know it's not really a conspiracy right? What sells copies, what gets hits on websites? They have market research and know how to maximize their earnings, once we are popular enough with the casual supporter we'll be pandered to just like the Sky4. Unless it's Danny Mills who actually believes he's been aggrieved by City, 6 fucking years of sitting on his arse collecting a paycheque and he thinks we did wrong by him?

I think it's great that even after 9 straight wins we are not considered by many to be a threat to Chelsea for the title. TShite ( I know I know) just decided it was 100% Chelsea because they are the far better team, better squad, better manager and playing better football. Fascinating!

When City were mentioned by someone the goon said Yaya was going to be missing for some key games and probably including the Chelsea game which would be crucial :)

So after being unable to play without Vinnie as we would leak goals ...really and then we were told we were a one man Aguero team....yeah right we now find that Yaya is actually the lynchpin to our success. Perhaps one day they might get closer and talk about the importance of Merlin but even their I think records show we can win without him and indeed without 2 or 3 of them all at the same time.

So hopefully we will win a few more to extend the record and still be considered as unlikely winners of anything.

Come on Slim. Get beyond that crap, we all know there are people scrupulously geared up to make money out of anything and everything.

You can't take it with you either.

I don't trust Google's info about web site hits any more than the claim tonight on Channel 4 that 21 million people used to watch Benny Hill in the Seventies.

Sony have just managed to BS their film .

What is real is that City ,with or without recognised strikers are on a roll.

That's all that matters.

remember playing burnley last time they were in the prem, it was coyle manager for them and hughes for us, burnley had,nt scored an away goal all season, and in 20 minutes we were 2 down at home, the game ended 3-3 and they nearly snatched it at the death, hoping it will be a bit easier tomorrow.

You arsehole I'd wiped that one from memory :)

Until reading this I could only remember the spanking we gave them at turf moor last time around. Thought for sure they'd stop it for the rain with us 4 or 5 up.

Well done to all players and backroom staff. Lets make it double figures.

Nuff said really

Quite interesting that even though the OP had nothing about bias or agenda, the majority of this thread is taken up by it.

Seems that we have some latent emotion to exude, and rightly so in my book.

I was also listening to Talkspite the other day Mr H (shame on me as well), whilst I was making the dinner and they were discussing Loserpool's problems with some gusto and heartwrenching feeling.

Ray Houghton was pontificating with the unopposed assertion that you can't do anything when you lose your two main players (Sturridge and Suarez) and I was actually willing someone to just point out that City have been without four main players for a number of weeks now (plus losing Merlin and Nasri at other times) and yet are still "doing something".

No-one did raise this point and, because the dinner was finally cooked, I switched off.

Typical Talkspite.........My new year's resolution might be to never switch on to that station, even in moments of abject boredom, ever again.

Yeah, you do. I had no fucking idea what the fuck you were rambling about in your last post, so I figured maybe you'd appreciate a FUCK OFF post from me, obviously not.

You used the word scrupulously when I think you meant unscrupulously, but let's move on.

People are willing to make money any way possible? Yes, that includes the journo's.

You can't take it with you? What?

Something about Benny Hill? What?

Sony BS'd their film? What?

City are on a roll....yes, yes they are. Good point, but that's just the latest in the long line of situations in which we've been badly reported, so not sure that's the only thing that matters or even if it's considered to matter at all.

Blow off of market research? Well you did say there are people who will make money out of anything and everything, do you not think that includes using market research? Or did you lose your fucking point somewhere in the middle and forget where you stood on the issue?

I? Okay, good point there.

So why don't you ask people to explain, if you didn't understand what was written ?

Rather than ranting on and on.

Edit: btw i did mean scrupulous. I think the people in the media with imo, their slanted view of things ( ie Big 4 of Arse , Rags, Scouse2 and Chavs), genuinely believe what they are doing is ok. They go in to great detail to promote these teams at the ignorance of all others , not just City.

You could argue that morally they are unscrupulous. However that is the same in all walks of life not just football.

I don't think so. I firmly believe I will see it in my lifetime.
I also believe I will see them win the Champs League. I also believe that we are not going to have to many more years to wait before we see a truly remarkable season. One where they just get everything right.
There will be set backs like today. It was a draw. At least we didn't lose ground. Lots of twists and turns to come.

Of course there are and as we are still nowhere near the real fight for the PL then I'd say there's lots to look forward to. I'm thinking, once this FFP is out of the way, that we will really see what our club can put together. At present we are still in the 'Overnight' part of this project, and we all know it just doesn't happen like that.
