I think dedication, intelligence and wit are overrated. Personally, I prefer members who post sporadically, often in a bad tempered manner and sometimes without actually being able to see the game being discussed.

I think we have a lot of worthy candidates & it's a difficult job to keep on top of it.

We should share out the legend status so more people can experience the unique pleasures it brings. Just a couple of days a week perhaps. In Doomies case, we could award it to him, then give it to someone else until May.

Why aren't posters like Mase, Gillie, AntL et al on the shortlist, have they gone MIA?

To be honest, I probably read more than I post nowadays due to a dodgy connection where I'm based. It does give time to take in others posts rather than scanning through them and I've got to say, we've got some really good and knowledgeable posters on here and it is hard to decide which 3 to choose.

I think Doomie's worth a vote, just for entertainment value but I'm not sure if he actually talks about football!
