No he didn't.
He put one on plate for Milner after a great piece of play.
He was fine.

I think smashing the ball at milner was only thing he actually did. He pissed me off when he gave the ball away and his body language was again saying to me ''bothered''
you're embarrassing yourself now mate. 'Smashed ' the ball at miller ? He played a great one two , took it round the defender picked his head up and put it on a plate for Milner. Kolarov was fine today.

wanted to double check on MOTD IMO he didn't need to hit it that hard, milner needed to take all of the pace out of the pass. It was a good pass don't get me wrong and kolorov is good at those. For me, he still hammers in early balls without looking up first. Thats fine when we have Dzeko. Pretty sure clichy has more assists this season so not really sure what Kolorov adds as a left back.

You seem to have quite an agenda here.
I can understand you slating him against Burnley, he was gash even if this thread was a knee-jerk reaction.
However yesterday he came on at left midfield, got into a few good positions, played a great one two , rounded his defender and put one on a plate for Jimmy.
How can you criticise him for that or say he didn't look interested? You're just making this up.
Not to mention the fact that he was FAR better than Clichy last season and was widely recognised along with Zab as being one of the best attacking fullbacks out there.

Him and Clichy are about equal and both have their strengths and weaknesses. Yes Clichy may or may not have more assists this season but Kolarov's been injured for a large part of it so it's not really a fair comparison.

Also when are the several times he's given fans stick? I remember one against Norwich which imo was justified as the fans were being ridiculous and shouting all kinds of abuse at him, if you can't take it, then don't give it.

He was getting shit during the last match of the season a few years ago from one particular City "fan". He waited until the match finished and then went over and offered the fan out haha!! Brilliant if you ask me. Became an all time legend that day and made me love him even more! Quite professional as well waiting until the match was over.

Hilarious the entitlement that some people feel. I suppose buying your ticket (or not even that ... pirating a television stream?) allows you to verbally attack a person. And then to act outraged at being offered out. Some people are so precious.

Nick has a personal crusade here, and I wonder what could have started it off.

Absolute wank from him again. Our play broke down countless times whenever he received the ball and I felt sorry for Milner playing in front of him. At least Pellers saw this and hooked him off. It's pretty bad when a manager has to sub a full back for another full back and it's not due to injury. Could be the writing on the wall for Kolarov

Some people are on a personal crusade here...
I didn't see the game today and I can't comment but it doesn't sound like anyone played too great.
He's just come back from injury.

Apparently there was back and forth today between Kolarov and fans in the East stand. He stormed off when substituted. I'm afraid absolute dogshit is fair comment for his performance today. I don't like fans having a go at players on the pitch but Kolarov needs to face up when he has a shocker as he did today. Not good enough.

He was fucking shameful today. On occasion first half, it appeared he was sulking about something & just casually knocking the ball sideways without even thinking about trying to contribute. Was regularly out of position compared to the other 3. The effort Boyata was putting into trying to make a line, as he's obviously been taught, compared to Kolarov, who just drifted around in front & behind. Stark contrast.

I am expecting to find he is actually injured. If not, he doesn't give a flying fuck & should be dumped out of the club. I had such a perfect view of his game 1st half. Unacceptable. I can accept fuckups but not people who don't give a fuck. If he wasn't injured, he wasn't trying, at all.

No personal crusade mate. Just saying what I saw at the game today. You said that you didn't see the game so perhaps you should wind your neck in

It's no surprise that Mangala's game also suffers when he's playing with Kolarov seeing as he has to do the job of 2 people.

Ted if Kolarov isn't fit then he shouldn't be playing. Sorry, no excuses. He is shit and I'd be delighted to get rid in the summer

If he's not fit, it's the Count's fault for playing him.

Yes I think the injury lay off is still affecting him. He was very rusty still today. He does nt help himself at times though as he manages to give off the impression he does nt care enough. He is playing like he did in his first season though I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt until fully fit. Clichy is clearly our best LB at the moment tho.

Clichy is twice the defender and always will be.

Do not like his attitude , got a record of having a go at the fans as if we owe him something.

Get f***king rid.

I don't doubt he had a shocker but I still think he's carrying a little knock of sorts.

At the beginning of last season there was a similar thread on here, asking for him never to play for us again and saying similar things to what are being said now.
He then went on a great run of form, was widely recognized as our best left back last season and one of the best in the league also and posters on here even admitted he had made huge improvements and they were a bit rash with their statements.
Fans change their opinions quite quickly.

I'd like to see if he can do it again. There's no reason why he can't.

The thing is that great run of form was a blip in a city career that so far has been largely underwhelming, made to look even better by Clichy's alarming drop in form. He is more often than not an extremely frustrating player to watch - great crosser of the ball but not much else to his game apart from that and defensively woeful. Clichy is a much better left back and should be our first choice

Clichy at his best is the better of the two I agree.
But the difference imo is that Kolarov is a real confidence player, when he gets a run of games and starts playing well he looks great.
Clichy on the other hand is very random. Sometimes on a great run of form he'll play an absolute shocker and conversely when he's on a crap run of form he'll pull out a fantastic game out of nowhere.

I do think that Clichy at his best is the better of the two but it'l also worth recognizing we woud have been worse off without Kolarov last season who was a huge part of our attacking game.

Can anybody confirm that he was gobbing off at City fans (again) today?
The only time I saw him interact with the fans was when he was asking for the ball.

By the way, he was an absolute disgrace today and was more of a hindrance to our play.
The fastest he moved all afternoon was when they held the board up with his number on it!

He has an amazing delivery and turned his city career around last season. Clearly has the talent but his desire is questionable at best. I like him but keep playing like today and he can do one.

Just a quick aside. Why does Kolorov not take free kicks. I thought that part of his game was one of the reasons we signed him. Also, we seem to give a lot of free kicks away just outside the box & as we spend half our time passing the ball around in this area, why don't our lads draw more fouls. We have some superb free kick takers yet we rarely seem to get a chance at them
