Kolarov has been linked with Juve in every transfer window. We should let him go this time in a straight swap for pogba. ;-)

We have some superb free kick takers yet we rarely seem to get a chance at them

Someone in the row behind me made the point about drawing free kicks at the last game; instead of just passing backwards and forwards across the edge of the area all the time, draw the opposition into giving away a free kick now and then and keep them guessing. Even if it doesn't work all the time must be worth a go after 30 mins or so of passing to-and-fro.

We get fouled plenty on the edge of the oppo box we just rarely get frees for them.

We get fouled more in that area than the oppo, but only about 20% given as free kicks, as opposed to 150% at the other end.

Thankfully I'm not alone. Its no personal crusade; hes just been largely shit for a while with a worsening attitude and I hate it when our B list full backs cost us games/points (Kolorov did the same thing in Europe under Mancini along with Maicon).

Being shite is one thing; but looking like he wants to leave/giving the fans shit is whats made me so mad recently. He clearly wants out.

I still don't think it's acceptable to shout unpleasant abuse at someone on the pitch, some of it 'pretty vile' according to 'Citywatch'. There again he shouldn't be shouting abuse back.

Should definitely have been a free kick and a booking. One of numerous errors by the appalling Oliver today

Maybe it was the delayed full-backs Xmas party last night and Zaba was still under the table, Kolarov and Sagna hungover and Clichy just about sobered enough to come on at the end.

I often come on here and argue the knee jerk nature of these threads, but my god was he shite today.

I don't think it's typical of him how bad he was today, many clearly do, but it shocked me how bad he was.

Last season, especially in the earlier part of the campaign, Yaya seemed to take all, or most, of the free kicks in this area and scored a fair number of exceptional goals from them.

I wonder if Kolorov is simply being overlooked, or that it's now reckoned that more subtlety is required, rather than just raw power ??

But he doesn't take any. It seemed that Nasri and Yaya had done a lot of practice on free kicks, which paid off handsomely. Does Kolorov practice them? Silva? Milner? Fernandinho? Our delivery on corners is hardly excellent so maybe these things aren't rehersed?

Having different set piece exponents gives us an edge that we don't seem to want. Baffling

If that was happening, it's totally out of order & the people involved are selfish cunts, because it never helps the player or the team, just purely gives the whinger personal satisfaction & almost always makes the team play worse.

We should get together & hound cunts like that out of the ground imo. They bring nothing but extra pressure & potential failure to the club. I sat through fucking years of listening to big mouthed cunts doing shit like that & driving team morale into the gutter. I don't want it around me.

If you hand out abuse to a player on the pitch, you are hurting the team.

On the other hand, how many other players are so far up their own arse that they start hurling abuse at the fans when they are having a stinker of a game?

If a player is constantly misplacing passes and fucking up, topping all that with defending like a bag of shite, that player will (rightly or wrongly) get grief off fans the world over until such time as he bucks up, that's human nature, that's football fans.........what's not normal is that said shit player abuses the fans back as though he is in the form of his life.

His attitude stinks as bad as his football. He is just not a very good footballer, in fact one of the worst defenders I think I've seen In a city shirt punctuated by the odd good performance,

Not wrong. Caught the guy from my local
Coffee shop nipping out for a smoke outside his designated lunch break yesterday. Told him he was a right cunt and should be sacked. He gave me a gobful and asked me what business of mine it was and I told him I planned to go buy a coffee and that pays his wages so he should shut up and take it.

Kolarov has been woeful the last few months and needs to either get his head out of his arse or fuck off to Italy.

I think there is no different to play with 10 men vs 11 with Kolarov, ergo he is useless.
Good to see even Pellegrini had seen enough with the late switch for Clichy.
