I can confirm that he was definately giving it out to people in 107.

from 107 down to 110 got a real close up of his game yesterday and he was utter shite. The straw that broke the camels back was the flick that he tried and he managed to give a throw to Wednesday.

It was just people shouting the usual stuff, but he reacted to it. Then it got worse.

Utter cock, bad footballer, not good enough for City
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012

I thin the abuse on this thread is very short sighted. Kolarov has become 2nd choice because Clichy has come into some really good form of late. It wasnt that long ago the people were eating humble pie (me included) because Kolarov had turned in some fantastic performances and was scoring and assisting as well as defending. He has the ability, however, I am not defending his performance, he was crap and was subsequently taken off, so it didnt go unnoticed by the coaching staff.

What is unacceptable is MANCHESTER CITY FANS abusing a player whilst he is playing for us. Whilst we were losing and whilst we needed to back the players to get us a result. The shit spouted reminds me of the with hunt against Edgehill, totally unacceptable and I hope the people around the knobheads that were spouting the abuse gave them an earful about it

If you want to slag off a performance, THIS IS THE PLACE TO DO IT, not at the Etihad whilst he is still playing in our shirt.

Agree fully. If you're gonna give abuse you have to be able to take it.

If verbally abusing players made them play better, I'd be all for it.

I can fully understand an outburst of, 'for fuck's sake' etc when Kolarov does one of his shite moves, but that should be as far as it goes.

Those who carry it on, are not doing it because it helps the team, or because it contrinbutes anything positive to anybody. They are doing it because they are nasty selfish cunts who don't care whether it helps the team or not, they just want to bully somebody.

If Kolarov punches one of them in the face, he will go up in my estimation rather than down, as imo, their ilk are a cancer in the club who have existed all my life, & are better at abusing their own players, than supporting them.

The younger ones; their fathers probably abused Ian Bowyer or Edghill & they listened & learned.

If that was happening, it's totally out of order & the people involved are selfish cunts, because it never helps the player or the team, just purely gives the whinger personal satisfaction & almost always makes the team play worse.

We should get together & hound cunts like that out of the ground imo. They bring nothing but extra pressure & potential failure to the club. I sat through fucking years of listening to big mouthed cunts doing shit like that & driving team morale into the gutter. I don't want it around me.

If you hand out abuse to a player on the pitch, you are hurting the team.

On the other hand, how many other players are so far up their own arse that they start hurling abuse at the fans when they are having a stinker of a game?

If a player is constantly misplacing passes and fucking up, topping all that with defending like a bag of shite, that player will (rightly or wrongly) get grief off fans the world over until such time as he bucks up, that's human nature, that's football fans.........what's not normal is that said shit player abuses the fans back as though he is in the form of his life.

His attitude stinks as bad as his football. He is just not a very good footballer, in fact one of the worst defenders I think I've seen In a city shirt punctuated by the odd good performance,

This is bang on!

I don't agree with fans giving players shit (yes the atmosphere is so bad that when i shout something he can hear it) - but Kolorov is supposed to be this big hard Serbian with great mental strength. For me, his attitude is such that he is in the form of his life; and the fact that he's cocky enough to give fans shit is a joke. He should be thinking 'im getting stick here, I need to pull my finger out of my arse'. Instead hes trying even less; which sums him up.

There were alot of groans when clichy messed up in the european and newcastle cup games. Did clichy give anyone any shit? No, he turned in a MOTM performance in the derby. I don't think Clichy would have had any similar abuse because it was clear he was out of form but was trying his best and has always been a top pro. Kolorov's problem is his attitude, not his form. Mouthing off before the Roma game made his own bed.

A player hasn't given the fans shit since Maicon. I'm sure Dzeko gets twice the shit Kolorov gets and he's never spoke out or tried to fight the fans. Why doesn't kolorov put this 'fight' and 'passion' into his performance?
