FA Cup - 4th Round Draw Numbers

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I can't say I'm excited about Boro, but at home it's a chance for us to progress. I last saw them in a pre-season friendly at Hartlepool in August, when the floodlights failed and they played the second half in the fading summer evening light, so its got to be better than that.

Doesn't sound like the pick of the bunch for TV by any means so hopefully we can play at 3pm Saturday.

Does this draw fill in that open weekend we have between gooners and Chelsea?

The last time we played Boro was in the cup not long after Mancini took over, Benjani with the winner. Vaguely remember Shaleum Logan playing at right-back for us as well? Different times!

I still have my doubts. It's caused many sleepless nights though.

How do the Rags do it though? They got Yeovil who are sat at the bottom of League 1 and now they get the lowest ranking side left in the cup!

How do they do it Beefy?. They dont. Others do it for them, and the day those cunts luck finally runs out will be the day a massive fucking comet hurtles towards the earth and by then no one will give a shit

In fairness, look at our cup draws over the last couple of years. This season - Wednesday at home twice, Newcastle at home, Boro at home. Last season - Watford at home, Wigan at home twice. Season before that - Watford at home, Barnsley at home, Leeds at home. We've not exactly had it tough either.

Fair point. They are still cunts though, cant dispute that one

With Toure away a winnable draw was imperative and though Boro wont be a pushover by any means, if we cant advance out of that tie we don't deserve to win the Cup anyway.

We can, if required, take on the bigger guns later on in this comp when we have some of our players back eg Kompany, Toure & Aguero.

The coldest I have ever been at football match. My feet were fucking freezing, forcing me to drink Whisky and Jagerbombs to warm up in the pub after the game.

I dunno, they took 7000 to Blackburn over Christmas apparently. I would expect them to take the full allocation. Hope not, because I hate moving from the South Stand
