Good signing and not played in the FA Cup. Makes perfect sense.

Scored more Premier League goals than anyone else in 2014.
Proven goalscorer, big strong lad and happy to sign him.

Bony would be signed to replace Negredo not as a panicky January signing. The risk is that he gets badly injured in the ACON. However, the Club are obviously very focused on winning the League and we simply can't afford to rely on the fitness of Jovetic and Aguero in particular. Bony is a proven goal scorer and should do very well if fed by Silva Yaya Nasri and Navas.

An investment to stop him scoring against us on the title run in.

The three goals he's scored against were all in games we won.

I knew it!

If it's not in CT, it isn't happening.

Carroll was not a proven goalscorer and never has been. He had done reasonably well for Newcastle for three months.

Bony has done well for Swansea for 18months aswell as scoring goals in the Czech Republic and Dutch Leagues

Who would you have preferred us to sign as a striker in the summer? Realistic options i.e. not Messi.

as a striker? tbh I've no idea. but I have to believe there's a player out there who is better suited to our style of play, younger, and possibly cheaper. why not try cole, ambrose or for that matter guidetti??

like him as a player, I think he is different to any forward we've had and would add a lot to the team.

I don't know about 30m, but as a Jan signing it's going to be inflated ... and it's us buying. He's a beast.

Missed 5 games in the last 3 seasons through injury

3 games in the 13/14 season, 1 game 12/13 and 1 game 11/12

I dont have a crystal ball but history tells us the likelihood of Bony getting injured in ACON is pretty remote
