You can only have one (for the purposes of this poll), which would you chose?

Both...let's be greedy...it's been too long for us and others have won trophy after trophy.

Yep, bit of silverware for me too. 4th would be amazing, but a shinny in the bin will cut out 92% of stick.

So for me, cup and 5th this season, next season 1st or 2nd minimum and into Europe running*

plus the FA and Carling cup

Same as last time top 4 will do me great as it will make future cups easier as getting the couple of players we now need to be complete will be a lot easier. A cup will not help us get them players.

Carling cup. It's a proper trophy and will look nice on the team pic in the summer. People remenber trophys not 4th place finishes. Would much rather a trophy in the cabinet.

of course we dont have to choose but it would be interesting to see what the owners thought if we won both the cups but finished say 6th or 7th.

Top 4 without hesitation. Much better to be in the Chump's league & I don't want another manager sacking, which I think will happen if we don't get there.

Top 4 for me.

It's the cup for me, even though top 4 would be great i think a cup under are belt will spur the player's on to get more silverwear. The top 4 will come next season for sure.

Would have to say Carling Cup.

I've waited my whole life to see us win a trophy, not to finish 4th, and so that isn't going to change now.

Arsenal haven't won anything for 4 years, yet they've finished in the top 4 each time. There is not anything exciting about that nor is that anything to be proud of.

Clubs are there to win trophies and fans (I'd like to think) watch their team in the hope of winning a trophy.

We watch football for enjoyment purposes don't we? Are people honestly saying they would take celebrating achieving 4th away to West Ham on the last day of the season over watching us win a trophy at Wembley?

WHEN we win the CC, and IF the Rags don't win anything this year, then I think we are going to need to get our own banner!

Cup for me, I wanna feel what its like to win something BIG and to have beaten therags to get there!

4th spot is OK but its still the qual's, no one will remember it after a few months like SoFu says.

But I would love both ;-)

Yes, because I believe finishing 4th this year would allow us to obtain more trophies for the future. Once we have Champions League to offer players the sky is the limit.
