People make mistakes, but fouling someone is a fucking choice. In a game like that, having just scored, you should be so desperate to avoid giving the oppo anything easy to put into the box.

Total fucking stupidity & I don't care what fuckups followed; Zabba created that chance for Everton, from absolutely nothing. You pay fotunes for players who can do that in your favour.

These cunts were always going to play this as a cup final. Liverpool willdo the same. Point is a decent result, but these wankers don't produce the same game v others. Same with Stoke.

Thats bullshit. We could and should have been well ahead in the first half hour but we missed to many opportunities. 2nd half the crowd were up for it, they felt aggrieved at having a goal ruled out, since they were still in the game this was always going to feed down to the players. We should never have let this situation (where they were still in the game) arise. We have done this countless times, we need to be able to control games and not give teams and crowds a sniff in a game.

This had nothing to do with playing us and they went up a level, they were shit and nervous in the first half and we let them grow into the game. this is a team in the worst form in the league and we don't take the game to them from the off, thats just stupid

After about 10 minutes we had given 2 stupid free kicks away in dangerous positions ( Zaba and Fernandinho) and there is no doubt Everton's best chance of scoring today was from such a free kick.Did we learn from it..no we just kept giving them away and it cost us.Yes Joe messed up but you are damned if you do and damned if you don't sometimes.

Had he stayed on his line and they scored he would still have been slaughtered. All in all not the worst point if you look at the previous 5 seasons we have won just 1.And there will be plenty of other results this season where teams lose unexpected points.Reading this thread though and how many of our players were utterly incompetent I think it must go down as a brilliant point.

Hart has a howler every game - pisses me right off because he's a great stopper but he's thick as pig shit, absolutely dead between the ears - great reactions but can't make decisions (or distribute).
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart then we'd be in top spot with an 8 point lead and the rags would be in 15th - that's the difference between a top class keeper and Hart. Nice guy but he's holding us back.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Not too disappointed with a draw at Everton. Aguero will be closer to fitness now and we are one game closer to getting Yaya back. Kompany is also closer to fitness and hopefully he can partner MDM against Arse and Chelsea.
We really do need to buy a top class centre half though if we are to move on and challenge in Europe etc. Longer term we need a replacement for Yaya. His holiday at the ACON is such bad timing when you look at the fixtures.
For tonight tho, I'm quite happy. Everton reverted to a back four which they are better suited to and it was blustery as fuck which can even things out.

We scored, we keep it tight for ten minutes, we score again. We handed them an opportunity to score with their most likely method, & they took it.

Their players & crowd have been quiet & nervous for the most part, for weeks. Today, they were flying into everything & up for it. It was always going to be the case.

That's because they were playing City & they are the same v us every season.

Who was marking Naismith if Hart didn't go for the ball ? Most likely ends in a goal whether Hart comes or stays.

Who handed them the chance to put the ball in ?

Jovetic is not good enough. Navas is just utter shite and now panics every time he gets a sight of goal. How many chances is he gonna get. Agree totally with Ted. Its easy to blame Joe but how many times have Everton and Nesmith done that. Its their fuckin party piece, but hey, zabba......man.He's getting profligate and needs to watch it. Surely Kompany should have replaced Mangala once he was booked. Two F's worked well and gave us some resilience. Silva and Nasri superb, Cliché again sound. Decent display against a tough team. On to the next.

A lot of complaints about the accuracy of our passing at times. I wonder how easy it was to play in the very windy conditions. Just a thought.

I don't agree with that.

Everton is one of the thew clubs in the league that don't park the bus when they play with us. Only a thew teams play football with us, instead of defending all day long and Scouse 2 are one of those teams.

Every single game, they offered us spaces to score but we failed.

If every single situation resulted a goald today, we should had won 5-3 or 5-4. I will always prefer to play Everton, rather Hull, Burnley, Sunderland, etc. Teams that refuse the game and wait for us to slip.

Regarding the game, not bad, a point where we usually lose. We played ok, considering that Vinnie, Yaya and Sergio were out, Milner and Dzeko too and Mangala had again a sloppy game. It is very important that when we play at Chelsea, we are in touching distance, they will slip, but we will too.

60 odd percent possession is very good indeed in the circumstances.

Yes we played well and yes they are a bogey team for us but we should be beating if not thrashing teams in the bottom half of the table. We are light years ahead of them so it's frustrating to drop 2 points.

There are plenty of games left, very far from over.
