I miss Neil Young and I would have loved to see him playing in our current team.

Continuing on that theme, one player from an earlier time who I think would have really enhanced us today, is Brian Kidd ; good in the air, excellent technique and ball control, a good engine and, when necessary, he could have 'filled in' in most positions for us.

I miss Maine Road.

And Terry Phelan and Keith Curle. David White would slot into our set up now with ease as well

Kiddo was an absolutely cracking player. It's strange he wasn't rated higher in the game, especially as he was an ex rag, but the only thing he lacked was real pace. Would be a fantastic player for this squad now. In his time at City, he scored just about every kind of goal you could imagine as a striker, plus played centre mid & central defence. Would score 40 goals in this team.

On the field - Robinho was the right player at the wrong time for us. There was too much pressure on him to carry the team. And to the fair he did well, he made Ireland look like he could end up being a very good player.
Off the field he was perfect. We needed to make a statement and we did it brilliantly.

The best thing Mario ever did was to pass the ball to Agüerooooooooooooooo. And I'll always love him for it..

Bloody autocorrect!
Would've been a good nickname for him, though.

That's clearly an animation WW.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
