I'm just back from my own football match - one of those that makes you question yourself why the fuck you're still playing... +1, wet snow, windy, and an opposing team with no one older than 23.

Been there many times mate and only a few months back I was playing in a semi-final of a cup game, at 43!

That's much the average age in my team. We got a wake up call in regards to our age in December when one of the guys suffered a hear attack.

We're still playing the right regular league systems, so most of the teams we're playing are all in their twenties.

Keep it going mate, it's not quite the same when you hang up your boots.

I've started coaching now, so I have something to fall back on once I stop ;-)
